6	In the world of demons, there exists the Underworld Capital, where the demons, evil spirits, and other such beings live. The Underworld Escorts are [[DarkIsNotEvil demons who protect humans]] from the evil spirits. You play as an underworld escort called Kirishima, who is given one task; go to an abandoned school and capture [[BigBad "the deceased one"]], an evil spirit responsible for many mysterious deaths in the area, and rescue Kinoshita, a fellow Escort sent to capture her who has never returned. Naturally, it isn't an easy task.

8	Currently has a manga adaptation. There is also a short sequel, ''FILAMENT'', where you play as a girl, Chihiro, who gets in a car crash and loses her memories. Called over to the mysterious Licorice Hospital, which is run by the demons, she must work with the Doctor to recover her memories within seven days.

11	* AdaptationalAttractiveness: In the original game, all the underworld escort characters share the exact same generic sprite and portrait designs and can only be distinguished from one another by their different design palettes. The manga on the other hand not only diversified the characters' designs from one another but also upgraded their appearances into [[{{Bishounen}} handsome young men]].
