[[https://gamebanana.com/mods/322803 Friday Night Fortress: Vs Mann Co]] is a VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin mod created by Totally-Not-Genji, [=ConarIsNotHere=], and a team of developers. 40!Tropes:
* ArtShift: In the "You Can't Run" cover, during the part where in the original the scenery would switch to Green Hill Zone and the graphics turned 16-bit, here the scenery switches to [=2Fort=] and Demoman reverts to his original look while Boyfriend becomes 3D.
* AwesomeAussie: Saxton Hale, as usual. Not only does his voice alone cause the screen to shake violently, but failing to dodge his punches leads to a OneHitKill.
* BadassNormal: Snoiper not only sings so fast in "Skill Issue" that the song is unbeatable without a bot, ([[NoFairCheating At least, if you accessed it by trying to press 7]].) [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim but he also quickscopes Boyfriend anyways at the end of the song]], [[UnwinnableByDesign causing an instant game over]].
* BigNo:
** Soldier screams an overly long No upon being informed he's wearing red, [[InsaneTrollLogic thus making him a communist under his own logic]].
** Saxton Hale lets out one towards the end of "Property Damage"
* BossBanter: With the exception of Sniper, all of the mercenaries are quite chatty during their songs, with Medic (and Heavy by extension) being the most talkative.
* BoxingBattler: "Strongmann" has the Heavy don headgear and a pair of RedBoxingGloves, and the song occasionally have a boxing bell ding.
* DoubleMeaningTitle: "Trolling". Trolldier isn't just trolling Medic by repeatedly calling for him, he's also trolling ''the player'' by messing with their screen.
* DualBoss:
** "Frontier Justice" has you battle against both Engineer and his banjo-playing robot.
** "Clinical Trial" has you face both Medic and Heavy.
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: "Honorbound" has you face off against a Soldier in samurai armor known as "Soldierai".
* ExactWords: In "Five Minutes", Snoiper says "See you in five minutes" before fading away. After five minutes pass, he returns. And that's the whole "song". [[ZeroEffortBoss The player doesn't have to copy any notes at all]], since Snoiper isn't there to give you notes to copy.
* HeroicRROD: The strain of keeping up with Engineer and his robot double causes Boyfriend to tear his vocal chords, making him unable to sing. Thankfully, Medic fixes him up in time for "Clinical Trial".
* HypocriticalHumor: Soldier believes that Girlfriend is a communist [[InsaneTrollLogic because of her red dress]]… completely forgetting that he's wearing red himself, and lets out a BigNo upon being informed of such.
* InterfaceScrew:
** Halfway through "Infiltrator", Spy's strum line disappears. When it’s your turn, your notes begin to vanish before reaching the arrows.
** The screen shakes violently whenever Saxton Hale sings in "Property Damage".
** BIG TIME in "Trolling". The screen gets messed up at certain intervals of the song.
* IncomingHam: Quite a few of the mercenaries are quite hammy, but Demoman singing "You Can't Run" is likely the crowning one.
-->'''Demoman''': THUS BEGINS MY THOUSAND-YEAR REIGN OF '''BLOOD! I ''FEEL'' EVERYTHING! I KNOW ''EVERYTHING!'' OHOHOHOHA!'''
* MeaningfulName: "Atomic Punch", "Iron Bomber", "Iron Curtain", "Frontier Justice", "Eyelander" and "Dispenser" are all named after weapons the class singing it possess.
* MythologyGag: Being based off of [=TF2=], many references are made to the source material and its community, enough for another page to have to be made just to list them all.
* OneHitKill: Missing Heavy and Saxton Hale’s fist notes or hitting Spy’s knife notes leads to an instant game over.
* RobotMe: Engineer fights alongside a banjo-playing robot of himself during "Frontier Justice".
* PlayingWithFire: Pyro, ''Pyro,'' '''''Pyro.'''''
* PromotedToPlayable: Engineer in "Dispenser", and Medic in "May Somethingth" and "Trolling".
* SeeYouInHell: Spy says in "Infiltrator" before his main gimmicks come into play.
* ShoutOut:
** One person in the chat may point out they play ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact''.
** Another one may say they're [[BreakingTheFourthWall comparing the mod]] to ''VideoGame/MidFightMasses'' [[TakeThat in order to make themselves feel better]].
* SuddenGameplayChange:
** "Frontier Justice" expands the strumline to 8 notes. Unlike [[VideoGame/VsShaggy a certain other mod]], however, most of Boyfriend's turns only use one set or the other.
** "Property Damage" has the strumline extend to 6, though these are used more traditionally.
* SuddenlySpeaking:
** Boyfriend mostly "speaks" in his usual beeps and boops, but uses actual words on two occasions: when challenging Scout to a rap battle and after [[HeroicRROD tearing his vocal chords from rapping with Engineer and his robot]].
** Girlfriend speaks a lot as well, compared to the base game where she never speaks in text boxes.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Nobody really seems all that bothered with Heavy overexerting himself and dying during "Clinical Trial" other than Medic saying "[[{{Understatement}} Zat was not medicine!]]"
* UnwinnableJokeGame: "Skill Issue," [[NoFairCheating at least if you accessed it by pressing 7]]. The notes move too fast to beat without enabling botplay, and even then, [[WhyDontYaJustShootHim Snoiper just quickscopes Boyfriend anyways at the end of the song]].
* VillainousRROD: Once the Ubercharge runs out in "Clinical Trial", Heavy grunts in pain, screams and abruptly falls over dead, so Medic takes over for the remainder of the song. [[UnexplainedRecovery He’s alive again by the next cutscene.]]
* YouAreAlreadyDead: Hitting Sniper's huntsman notes and Demoman's sword notes won't immediately cause a game over, but will definitely guarantee it. Sniper's huntsman notes stun the player, preventing them from hitting notes, while Demoman's sword notes will cause a ''very fast'' health drain.
