Heroes from various worlds wake up in an unknown location, and what's more, their enemies are here as well. Worst still, the heroes have found that their powers have been lost. Nontheless, they work together to regain their strength, stop the plots of the villains, and return home.

!This game contains examples of the following:
* CombinationAttack: One of the big pluses of the game is good amount of these there are, especially the ones between characters from different franchises:
** ''Ultra Star Operation'': Ultraman and Seven.
** ''Combination Zero'': Seven and Zero.
** ''Tajador Dynamite'': Taro and OOO.
** ''Limit Over-Blade'': Mebius and 00 Raiser/00 Qan[T].
** ''Erupting Big Bang Finger'': Zero and God Gundam.
** ''Our Finishing Move W Version'': Den-O and W.
** ''Double Rider Kick'': W and OOO.
** ''Twin Finallusion'': W and Wing Zero.
** ''Leo Zero Double Flasher'': Leo and Zero.
** ''Shisi Touhou Fuhai-ken'': Leo and God Gundam.
** ''GN Ultimate Zero Sword'': Zero and 00 Qan[T].
** ''Super Galaxy Cross Shoot'': Ginga and Fourze.
** ''RX-0 Combination'': RX and Unicorn.
** ''Moonlight Bird'': OOO and Turn A.
** ''Fire Drill Kick'': Fourze and Wizard.
** ''Maximum Output Beam Raiser'': Turn A and 00 Qan[T].
* DistressedDude: [[spoiler:In the first game, all of the original 5 Ultra Brothers, as well as the original Double Riders and RX, are held by the villains for experimentaion.]]
** Happens again in ''2'': [[spoiler:1-gou and Ultraman are captured again, this time alongside Nu Gundam.]]
* DownloadableContent: ''2'' has this to add 6 characters from the first game to your group, complete with updated visuals (but without any {{Combination Attack}}s ivolving them): Series/{{Ultraman}}, Series/UltraSeven, [[Series/KamenRider Kamen Rider 1-gou]], Series/KamenRiderDenO, [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack Nu Gundam]], and [[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Zeta Gundam]].
* PunnyName: The name of Turn A and OOO's CombinationAttack, "Moonlight Bird," is a pun on the name of Turn A's strongest weapon, the "Moonlight Butterfly," as both attacks would be pronounced in Japanse as "Gekkou-Chou."
* SuddenlyVoiced: ''BONUS EDITION'' gives all its heroes voiced lines for their [[LimitBreak Hero Skills]] and {{Combination Attack}}s. ''2'' not only does that, but also gives lines for the regular Skills.
