->''"For the King, for Morcia, for the Code!"''
-->-- '''Sir Jayko'''

''Lego Knights' Kingdom'' is a 2004 ActionAdventure video game developed by Creator/RazorbackDevelopments and published by Creator/{{THQ}}, that is based on the Toys/{{LEGO}} [[Toys/LEGOThemes Theme]] [[Toys/KnightsKingdom2 of the same name]]. It was released on the UsefulNotes/GameBoyAdvance.

In the MedievalEuropeanFantasy kingdom of Morcia, an order of knights watch over and protect the kingdom's provinces, currently overseen by King Mathias. These knights follow a code of honor that dates back to ancient times. However, after a young man called Jayko passes the trials necessary to be knighted by the King, the Shadow Knights of the King's ObviouslyEvil [[EvilChancellor advisor]], Lord Vladek, attack the kingdom and capture the King.

When Vladek hosts a tournament where the winner shall be crowned king and confirms that he himself will compete, Sir Jayko and three other honorable knights -- Sir Santis, Sir Rascus, and Sir Danju -- pledge to find their King and return him to the throne, investigating his disappearance, uncovering Vladek's plans to take over the kingdom using the BlackMagic contained within [[SpellBook the Book of Morcia]], and journeying into the wild Moorlands in search of [[OverlyLongName the Heart of the Magical Shield of Ages]], the only shield that can stand against Vladek's powers.
----
!!''Lego Knights' Kingdom'' provides examples of:

* AdaptationalDumbass: In the toyline, King Mathias suspected that Lord Vladek had [[AmbitionIsEvil ambitions]] to take the throne for himself, and appointed him as his advisor [[KeepingTheEnemyClose so that he could keep a closer eye on him]]. Granted, King Mathias' plan didn't work out, but this game includes no such information, and it seems he appointed the [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver knight in red and black armor]] as his advisor because [[HorribleJudgeOfCharacter he genuinely believed he was trustworthy]].
* BigBad: Lord Vladek.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter:
** King Mathias. His most trusted advisor is [[ObviouslyEvil Lord Vladek]], who betrays him in his plot to become the new king. As noted above, this is a case of AdaptationalDumbass.
** Sir Danju, who doesn't suspect Lord Vladek until it's too late.
* KnightInShiningArmor: The four protagonists are honorable knights who are loyal to King Mathias.
* MedievalEuropeanFantasy: The Kingdom of Morcia.
* ObviouslyEvil: Lord Vladek tries to pass himself off as a FauxAffablyEvil BitchInSheepsClothing before he begins his plan to conquer Morcia, but he doesn't do a particularly good job at it because he [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver wears red and black armor]], as do his Shadow Knights. Unfortunately, King Mathias is a HorribleJudgeOfCharacter.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Lord Vladek and his Shadow Knights wear red and black armor, and they are ruthless and evil.
* SpellBook: The Book of Morcia, which Lord Vladek uses to obtain dark powers, create the Shadow Knights and plot to usurp the throne. [[spoiler:At the end of the game, King Mathias uses it to dispose of the Shadow Knights.]]
* TopDownView: The game's perspective is this. It's also an ActionAdventure game, obviously taking cues from games like the 2D entries in ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda''.
* UndyingLoyalty: The four protagonists, to King Mathias.
* AWinnerIsYou: The game ends with a single cutscene of [[spoiler:the protagonists being thanked by King Mathias, and Lord Vladek being [[TheExile banished from the kingdom]] and swearing {{revenge}}]]. Cue the credits!
