Waking up with no idea of where everyone is, an empty house and strange occurrences, Alex tries to figure out what happened to his family.

The very end of the game even shows a book of Oedipus' story and the game itself has various references to the story. The Eldest, the Lady of the Golden Womb and the Son of the Moon seem to be the most important ones, while the Rider of the Stars, the Lightsword and the Burning Crimson are mentioned as part of the worldbuilding. Another entity called the Tellurian is later mentioned too, though he's the first human, rather than an old god.
