* AprilFoolsDay: A RealLife example where Key first announced the project on April 1, 2008.
* BadExportForYou: Despite [[ScheduleSlip years of delays]], the English release of ''Rewrite+'' has all the makings of a rushed localization. In addition to suffering badly from BlindIdiotTranslation, including Shizuru's name being rendered as [[SpellMyNameWithAnS "Sizuru"]] and several [=CGs=] being inexplicably censored, it effectively launched as an ObviousBeta, to the point where not only was the game riddled with {{Game Breaking Bug}}s, but it was impossible to get HundredPercentCompletion due to one. Several patches were implemented to address the issues, all the way to late January 2022, at which point the game had been handed off to a new translation team to fix most of the game's typos (but not other translation issues).
* NoExportForYou: The anime isn't released in home video yet in North America despite the fact that Aniplex is involved in the production (most likely due to low sales in Japan).
* ScheduleSlip: The localization of ''Rewrite+'' and ''Rewrite Harvest festa!'' was originally announced at Anime Expo 2017. A Kickstarter for additional funding needed for the project was launched and completed in October/November 2019 with a slated release date of November 2020. It finally released on December 17th of 2021, albeit in a rather shoddy state initially.
* UpdatedRerelease: Rewrite+ features improvements and revisions to scenarios and adds new CG.
