9	* ScheduleSlip: The free DLC ''Not a Hero'' was intended to be released in Spring 2017, but Capcom creators believed due to the reception the game is receiving from fans, they are trying to make it up to the fans' standards and expectations. It was finally released on December 12, 2017, along with the ''End of Zoe'' DLC story.
10	* TeasingCreator: Capcom have been teasing the fanbase ''mercilessly'' in regards to the Dummy Finger, to the point that even official customer support emails have humorous mentions to it. In the final game, [[spoiler:the Dummy Finger reappears as part of Lucas' Birthday puzzle]].

14	** Ethan and Mia were originally strangers, not married. Ethan was originally was an investigator and Mia was a missing person.

The grandmother was actually named Marguerite before being nameless. 20	** The Molded looked liked a masked man before looking like a humanoid mold monster with teeth in the final version. They were also originally had hair.
21	** While Andre's corpse was found in the water, Ethan was to find him in the basement with no limbs, and finds a flashlight in his corpse.
