2	** Japan got "Hallelujah" as a bonus track on ''Mutter'', and the US got it as a bonus on the Best Buy edition of it. However, fans elsewhere had to either import those copies or find the rare "Links 2-3-4" single. A demo version of the song was released on the ''Resident Evil'' film soundtrack.
3	** In Japan, ''Reise Reise''[='s=] cover and pre-gap hidden track were seen as distasteful due to being to do with a Japanese plane crash, so the hidden track was removed and a new cover was devised featuring a ship. This was later used as the cover for ''Rosenrot''. Remixes of "Mein Teil", "Amerika" and a bonus DVD featuring clips from the band's DVD ''Lichtspielhaus'' were also included.
4	** The US got a new cover for ''Herzeleid'' with white background, whilst the original cover remains in place everywhere else. It was likely the cover was changed for revealing too much of the band's upper bodies, rather than the Nazi controversy alluded.
5	** The US also had a minor bonus with ''Reise Reise'', as the flight recorder hidden track was actually included at the start of the track rather than being hidden in the pregap. As pre-gap tracks are hard to rip on computers, this has made it popular with collectors.
6	** Australia got "Stripped" as a bonus track on ''Sehnsucht'' and when the band toured in 2001, got their "Asche Zu Asche" single with five live tracks as a bonus tour disc too. This version of the album is quite collectible.
7	* ColbertBump: Rammsteins' songs seem to be used as a BootstrappedTheme for the remakes of the ''VideoGame/DestroyAllHumans'' games, and have featured in two trailers so far:
8	** "Ich will" got a ''huge'' one after the ''VideoGame/DestroyAllHumans2020'' trailer released.
9	** "Amerika" is used for the trailer for that sequels' remake (with the music video also being directly parodied).

12	** Flake mentioned he wasn't satisfied with Sharleen Spiteri's guest performance on "Stirb nicht von mir (Don't Die Before I Do)", and preferred the German version with their old collaborator Christiane "Bobo" Herbold (known to fans for her cameo in "Engel") instead.

19	* DyeHard: Richard's a natural blond who kept it that way in the band's early days, but tends to keep his hair dyed black nowadays. Also, Flake has dyed his hair various different colors over the years. For a short period of time, the band was all dyed bright red.
20	* DyeingForYourArt: In the music video for "Ich tu dir weh" and during the ''Liebe ist für alle da'' tour, there is an LED light inside Till's mouth. The tech guys and band suggested that they stick a flesh-colored cable to Till's cheek, arguing that the closest the audience would be to him during the tour would be about five meters. Till, however, insisted on having a hole drilled into his cheek so they could put the cable into his mouth through it.

22	** The video of the ''Live aus Berlin'' performance of "Bück dich". Only some VHS tapes had it on there, later tapes and the DVD do not...until March of 2020 when all of a sudden, a Reissue of the DVD restoring the performance of "Bück dich" was released.
23	** Most of the video recording of their September 1996 Berlin concert. Only a very limited amount of VHS tapes containing it was produced and sent out to Official Fanclub members as a Christmas gift that year. Aside from two clips[[note]]The first one contains the songs "Herzeleid" and "Seemann" and was released on the Band's Lichtspielhaus DVD in 2003 (and uploaded to their [[Website/YouTube YouTube]] Channel in 2017), the second one contains "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" and was released on some editions of the "Stripped" CD Single in 1999. 36	** In a case of "What Couldn't Have Been": Rammstein might not have been created if not for the premature curtailing of Till's potential Olympic swimming career. This was caused by a combination of [[CareerEndingInjury a stomach injury]] and for sneaking out to buy porn magazines and getting caught in the act, leading to him getting kicked off the team. This is alluded to on the ''Völkerball'' cover: the emblem on it is identical to the 1980 Summer Olympics emblem, the Olympics he would have participated in. Had he competed, it's a high likelihood he would have won, seeing as that was the year the Soviet Union swept the Olympics since the United States refused to compete.
