Context Trivia / MickieJames

* BreakupBreakout: The breakout from Candie, Wrestling/CMPunk being the breakout from Laree and the rest of the gathering.
* Corpsing: Paul London[=/=]Wrestling/SantinoMarella has burst on the scene spouting something so inane the rest of the locker room can but stare in confusion, anger or revulsion...except little Alexis/Mickie. Watch the camera frantically pan away!
* CreatorsPest: After being released from WWE the second time, she alleged that any ideas she pitched were blocked by one specific person that "still works there". She also faced with people trying to make her retire or become an agent because she was "too old".
* FanCommunityNickname: The James Gang. Became an AscendedMeme in her second last match, as Matt Striker acknowledged the name on TV.
* PlayingAgainstType: Her ultra serious wrestler gimmick in Ring of Honor was this. Not only James known to be pretty sweet and goofy, but Allison Danger later revealed that her role as a bisexual stalker was Mickie's idea.
* RealSongThemeTune
** (in ROH): The Kottonmouth Kings' "Day Dreamin' Fazes"
** Music/TheWhiteStripes' "Seven Nation Army"
** (in OVW): Music/NoDoubt's "Just a Girl"
* RoleEndingMisdemeanor: The main reason for her WWE release was that during a UK tour, she caused several buses to arrive to the arena late. Other theories say that the company weren't happy with her launching her own album, independent of them.
* RomanceOnTheSet: Married to Wrestling/NickAldis; they also have a child together before their marriage. She was also previously engaged to Kenny Dykstra, and it was rumored that she once had flings with CM Punk and Wrestling/JohnCena, the latter supposedly happened while she was still with Dykstra.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen
** Laree and CM Punk were almost repackaged with a cheerleader gimmick while in developmental. Wrestling/PaulHeyman, thankfully, put a stop to that and the gimmick eventually developed into the Spirit Squad.
** The Looney Fan angle was one Mickie James wrote on the off chance she would get on WWE's active roster. She wrote it with Wrestling/Lita in mind, but given Lita's ACL tear and valet duty of heel Wrestling/Wrestler around the time Mickie made it onto Raw, face champion Wrestling/TrishStratus, whom she did not really know before hand, was deemed a better fit.
** Wrestling/SaraDelRey would be facing her at RPW Throwdown For The Pound 3 but James sustained a shoulder injury at a TNA House Show, so Knockout Champion Wrestling/MadisonRayne wrestled in her place while Mickie signed autographs and took pictures.
** The day of her scheduled rematch with Sarita at WWC's 38th Aniversario, she instead faced Black Rose. Also, instead of getting a rematch with Wrestling/Melina at WWC's 39th Aniversario, Wrestling/Melina faced Wrestling/VelvetSky.
** Mickie pitched an idea for an all-women's brand or a web series like Grown Ass Women centered around the female stars - but got shot down because the higher-ups felt it wouldn't sell.
** Mickie floated around the idea that she tie Trish Stratus's record for seven titles, and then have Wrestling/CharlotteFlair do the same - and both of them feud over who got to break the record.
** Right before both were released in 2021, there were plans to have Mickie James experience a storyline with Chelsea Green - with Chelsea being her LoonyFan like she was to Trish. Mickie had previously pitched for Wrestling/LivMorgan to fill that role.
