* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: In the review of ''Film/{{Solo}}'', Mike conjectures that when Creator/GeorgeLucas was writing the script to ''Film/ANewHope'', he didn't know what a parsec was. The review cuts to Obi-Wan giving Han an incredulous stare, implying Obi-Wan finds the claim as ridiculous as Mike does. However, what Lucas actually wrote in the script for Obi-Wan's reaction shot to "twelve parsecs" was "Ben reacts to Solo's stupid attempt to impress them with obvious misinformation." Meaning that Mike accidentally got Lucas' correct intention across without realizing it.
* {{Corpsing}}:
** During Mike's CaptainObvious description of ''Film/WhiteHouseDown'', he concludes, "Thank you, Creator/RolandEmmerich! I hope someone shoves a club up your ass!" then giggles out of character.
** In their ''Film/GodzillaVsKong'' review, Mike tries to describe a trope he calls the "'Oh no, what's next?' look", where a character hears something scary and slowly turns towards it with a frightened expression on their face. He ends up bursting into laughter every time he attempts to act it out.
* CreatorBacklash: Their interview with Creator/MaxLandis was delisted after the numerous sexual assault allegations came to light. An InCaseOfXBreakGlass gag was also adjusted in a later episode to remove its relation to Landis.
* TheDanza: Mike Stoklasa and Jay Bauman as Mike and Jay. Also, [[PlanetOfSteves almost every character played by Rich Evans is named Rich]], with the exception of the various Plinketts.
* MilestoneCelebration: The 100th Episode: ''Film/TheForceAwakens''.
* MissingEpisode:
** Episode 46, ''Film/WarmBodies''[=/=]''Film/Movie43'', has yet to be re-uploaded in its entirety since RLM's switch from Blip to the [=YouTube=] format. This may be because of the opening skit featuring Jay announcing he has a new girlfriend and Mike referring to her as the "Yoko Ono" of the VCR repair shop (for which Jay mocks him), which was a dig at fans saying that about Mike's girlfriend Jessi, who had started appearing on-camera in ''WebVideo/BestOfTheWorst'' at the time. The "review" of ''Film/Movie43'' was edited out of the full episode and posted as a standalone [=HitB=] skit to [=YouTube=], which even the official website links to as the 46th "episode" of the show.[[note]]That said, a fan re-uploaded the full episode to [=YouTube=] in 2016 and it has remained there unmolested ever since.[[/note]]
** The fake review for ''Film/JurassicWorldFallenKingdom'' has been taken down twice due to being flagged as "misleading content". Red Letter Media responded by putting a StealthInsult towards the flaggers in the ColdOpen of their real review of the movie.
** Their trifecta of fake ''Film/TransformersTheLastKnight'' reviews were also taken down, as they were about a minute of content and twenty to sixty minutes of black.
** Their "A conversation with Creator/MaxLandis" video has been delisted from their channel, for reasons certainly related to the allegations Landis raped and abused women.
* ThrowItIn: In Episode 45 [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi7_r80uwn8&t=1971s Mike suddenly bursts out laughing]], which was kept because it's so unexpected.
