4	** In the English dub, Tsukasa shares the same voice actress as Minami.
5	** This is also true with the incidentals, with most of them voiced by the same two actors [[note]]Creator/FumihikoTachiki and Creator/{{Kujira}} in Japanese, Creator/RichardEpcar and Creator/DerekStephenPrince in English[[/note]], with a small handful of other actors doing any remaining roles.

7	** If we talk about music, even excluding all the background score (which is packed in with the [[NoExportForYou Japanese]] [=DVDs=]) and the two [[AudioAdaptation drama CDs]], there are still 31 different [=CDs=] out.
8	** In a similar phenomenon as ''Literature/HaruhiSuzumiya'', there was also a concert starring the main cast (with some cameos of the other voice actors that appeared in the anime) that was done in 2009.
9	** The real city of Satte, Saitama (where Konata and her family live), and Washinomiya Shrine (which served as the inspiration for the Hiiragi family's shrine) became [[TouristBump popular tourist spots for fans]] (they also sell residential certificates of the Izumi and Hiiragi family, and other souvenirs as sake, balsamic vinegar, wooden cellphone straps, etc). Ever since the anime aired, there was a moment where 450,000 people were attending Washinomiya Shrine, and Satte's economy skyrocketed ever since the anime aired, not even mentioning that the Izumi family became honorary citizens, not so much time after.
10	* CrossDressingVoices: Several background female voices in the dub end up as this, with many of the voices actually voiced by women being dubbed by Creator/DerekStephenPrince.

12	** Apparently the character of Patricia Martin was [[http://adventuresinvoiceacting.blogspot.com/2008/12/patricia-paddy-ja-lee-plays-herself-on.html originally inspired by]] her now retired English dub actress, Patricia Ja Lee.
13	** Creator/MinoruShiraishi as [[CharacterAsHimself Minoru Shiraishi]].
14	* DawsonCasting: Creator/WendeeLee was 47 years old when she got the role of Konata. This was exaggerated by the fact that Konata appeared to have some form of growth deficiency.
15	* GodNeverSaidThat: There's a rumor (which even persists on this wiki) that in a manga omake, WordOfGod confirmed that Kagami had a one-sided crush on Konata (which of course is prime fuel for the shippers). Except that this omake doesn't exist, but shippers love to propagate the rumor without checking for a source. (The lack of scans online beyond the beginning of Volume 2 contributes to this.) What actually happened was that the author ''jokingly said'' that of the Konata/Kagami duo, one may have a more than friendly attraction to the other but it wasn't stated who.
16	* HarpoDoesSomethingFunny: According to Tsukasa's voice actress Creator/KaoriFukuhara, she and the rest of the cast were encouraged to ad-lib some of their lines. Tsukasa's famous "barusamikosu" line was one of those moments.
17	* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: When Creator/BandaiEntertainment ceased DVD production entirely, the anime was one of many in Bandai's library that fell into licensing limbo. Thankfully, when many former-Bandai shows were being rescued, Creator/{{Funimation}} picked up the license to ''Lucky Star''.
18	* LateExportForYou: The anime didn't get licensed and dubbed in Germany until 2022, over a decade after the show's original airing ''and'' its initial English release.

20	** Due to Bandai pulling out of the North American market, volumes 9 and up of the manga remain in Japan only. Sadly, there seems to be little interest in fan translators to pick up where the official releases left off.

22	* NonSingingVoice: Everyone in the English dub. For example, during the karaoke box endings, the dialogue was dubbed, but the singing was left in Japanese, so we've got Creator/WendeeLee talking and Creator/AyaHirano singing, and so on.

24	** The voice actresses for Hinata and Hikage Miyakawa were changed in ''Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku''.
25	** Like several other anime, there was a drama CD with a completely different cast before the anime. Possibly lampshaded in Episode 2 when Konata laments an in-universe anime receiving a similar treatment.

27	** Creator/KaoriShimizu, the voice of Hiyori, is better known for [[TheStoic serious, mature and efficient]] women, like [[Franchise/LyricalNanoha Signum]].

29	* RealitySubtext: The talk about Drama CD casts [[TheOtherDarrin getting Darrin'd]] in anime adaptations might in Episode 2 might be a wink towards exactly that happening to the series.
30	* RealSongThemeTune: The ending credits for the first half of the anime features the four seniors singing karaoke versions of classic anime, TV and idol songs.
31	* TheRedStapler: Sales for ''VisualNovel/DaCapo'' basically exploded when Konata made a full-on parody of the opening.
32	* SeriesHiatus: The manga went on hiatus in 2014, due to creator Kagami Yoshimizu working on another project. It would later resume serialization in 2022, though it moved magazines, switching from ''Comptiq'' to ''Mitaina!''.
33	* StarMakingRole: Creator/AyaHirano's role as Konata firmly cemented her success, which started with her role as the titular Literature/HaruhiSuzumiya.

35	** The Hiiragi family's shrine is based on the real life Washinomiya Shrine in Washimiya, Japan. It's the oldest shrine in the Tokyo area, and ever since ''Lucky Star'' first aired in 2007, otaku have been making "holy pilgrimages" to the shrine during holidays-- especially on New Years Day! The town's economy has skyrocketed off ''Lucky Star'' related merchandise alone.
36	** Furthermore, the nearby town of Satte is where the Izumi family lives in the series. The Izumi family (Konata, Sojiro, Kanata, and Yutaka) have been [[http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-11-24/lucky-star-gigantor-made-honorary-residents-of-hometowns made honorary residents of the town.]] Kagami Yoshimizu lived in Satte when he created ''Lucky Star'', and after he moved out, the city renovated his home into a recreation of the Izumi household.
37	* WriteWhoYouKnow: Yoshimizu did not designate any particular person as his self-insertion; instead he split many facets of him into different characters. WordOfGod said the part about Hiyori WritersBlock strips was referring to him.
