* AuthorAppeal: Although it should be noted that The Siren's Saga creator IV Sparrow does not agree with this portrayal and has spoken out against it many times, WordOfGod states that much of the aesthetic inspiration for the Society of the Purple Rose comes from the portrayal of Ordo Templi Orientis in the CBS All Access original series Strange Angel.
** The strong Japanese influence in Arkn culture is due to Penthepoet's love of Japanese culture. Likewise, the Celtic influence of the First Age of the Arkn; Ma’eve Connaught was inspired by the Morrigan and Boudicca.
* CreatorBacklash: In the early blog entries of Staff of the Scholar, Andras As'phyxiar torments Faust by (among other things) calling him by his deadname. Penthepoet has since identified as non-binary, and as such regrets those entries, considering them to be only vaguely canon.
* DeletedRole: Malachi Fairfax, the grandson of Ellpagg, a relic-hunting final-stage Risen who is the ArchNemesis of Ba'al Redgrave (who killed him in battle in his Arkn life). After [=DeathlyLogic=] stepped down as a creator, the character was excised from canon (save for a few brief mentions of his identity from his Arkn life, Iscari Delfic, who is still canon).
* DemotedToExtra: Ryael Morrow was conceived and introduced as one of the main Risen characters of Legacy, whose plotline tied heavily into Malachi's (see above). After DeathlyLogic's departure, Malachi was stricken from canon, forcing Penthepoet to reboot Ryael's blog and scrap many of their plans for the character. They ultimately decided to shift their focus to Faust's story instead.
* DisabledCharacterDisabledActor: A downplayed example: Penthepoet is autistic, and wrote both Faust and Ryael as such (incorporating many of their own quirks and idiosyncrasies into both characters).
* LostEpisode: Malachi X, a former Legacy series by [=DeathlyLogic=], was lost in stages:
** First, the original blog for Malachi X was deleted — and the accompanying videos unlisted — when [=DeathlyLogic=] decided to make the series undergo a TimeSkip (so that it could focus on a cocky, confident Malachi working magic and recounting his badass exploits, instead of an unpowered, amnesiac Risen bumbling around trying to recover his lost identity).
** In March 2018, the entire vlog portion of the series was deleted. [=DeathlyLogic=] stated that they were uncomfortable playing Malachi onscreen, as they didn't want to put their face on the character or become the "face" of Legacy (as was the case with Arknverse). The series was later cancelled, and the blog was scrapped as well, making the entire series a Lost Episode.
** This also necessitated a reboot of Bard of the Black Violin's plot, seeing as the two blogs were so interconnected. One or two of the original posts from Bard of the Black Violin were saved by Penthepoet (the series' creator).
** Tales of the Destrus, a short-lived blog from [=Type0Negative=], was deleted after posting a single entry. Unfortunately, no one saved or reblogged said entry, and it was lost.
** Due to [=DeathlyLogic=]'s personal "rebrand" (which, among other things, resulted in the deletion of his Tumblr blog) several of the early Legacy one-shot stories were lost.
* PromotedFanboy: Penthepoet counts as one, having been a huge fan of the Arknthology before eventually becoming one of the creators of Legacy.
* WorkingTitle: In the planning stages, Arkn: Legacy was codenamed “Arkn X”. While the name still applies, it has fallen out of favor for Legacy, the “official” name.
