* ActingForTwo:
** In his first video ([[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness which didn't feature any mentions to video games whatsoever]]), he plays himself and... [[MindScrew himself]].[[note]]First chronologically available video as of 2022, he mentioned removing older videos at one point[[/note]]
** The "Christmas Clones", which started off as a clone of Clint in a Santa hat speaking in a SimpletonVoice coming around each December to remind Clint it's time to do Christmas and/or other holiday themed games. It spun off into its own canon, resulting in four clones named Harble Nargle, Flarb Norp, Cleave Meeb, and [[AerithAndBob Bob]].
* ArtistDisillusionment: In recent years he's been vocal about being ''very'' weary of reviewing ''[[VideoGame/TheSims4 Sims 4]]'' content packs. When the ''[[Franchise/StarWars Star Wars]]'' pack released, he [[https://twitter.com/lazygamereviews/status/1303336772311691266?s=20 tweeted]] that he didn't know if he would make videos about it or any future ''Sims 4'' packs, as the thoughts he expressed in the video were all boiling down to the same things.
* TheCastShowoff: Has a pretty good VideoGame/DukeNukem impression that he'll show off at any opportunity.
* ColbertBump:
** His review of the now-infamously weird ''VideoGame/TheAdventuresOfNinjaNannyAndSherrlochSheltie'' is pretty much single-handedly responsible for bringing the game's existence into the limelight.
** His look at the Computer Reset warehouse in North Texas also caused a massive spike in its awareness, with it previously having been mostly only known to the area locals, and has now turned into a household name to retro computer enthusiasts.
* {{Corpsing}}: In the "Neo Aquarium - King of Crustaceans" video, he tried his best not to burst out into laughter but did so in the intro, due to the game being "a competitive third person shooting game based on crustaceans".
* CreatorBacklash:
** He has admitted that his 2011 review of ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsArena'' has "aged...''quite'' poorly", and might consider revisiting it in the future to "give it some fresh coverage more fitting to [his] current standards." He even went so far as to downvote the video in his ''Skyrim'' review, uploaded exactly ten years later.
** In general he has expressed distaste for a lot of his old videos, mainly for the sluggish narration and being much too harsh (or occasionally too forgiving) on some games.
* MilestoneCelebration: Several, starting from the one-year anniversary acknowledgement in the ''VideoGame/NeedForSpeed'' review all the way up to the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRb6heH4LOI 10th anniversary retrospective video]] in 2019.
* PromotedFanboy: When he showcased ''Gas Guzzlers'', he thought it'd be awesome if they had Duke Nukem's voice, and even did a few lines. The developers took note and asked him to be Duke Nukem's voice (labeled "Duke" in the options) in an update of the game.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: A video by the name of "LGR 11/24" got demonitized ''[[DarthWiki/IdiotProgramming before it had finished uploading.]]'' [[https://twitter.com/lazygamereviews/status/932695908172664832 Clint wasn't happy.]]
* TechnologyMarchesOn: Occasionally, if Clint slips up on explaining something about what he reviews, the viewers will ask how something even works. For example, he reviewed the [=IBM PC110=] palmtop PC, which could double as a phone. He forgot to explain how the phone actually works (it's a landline phone) and people thought it was a cellphone, asking where the SIM card goes (of note, SIM cards until 1996 were credit card sized, not like the smaller ones we're probably used to seeing today).
