1	* DeletedRole: Xander Cage originally had a fairly lengthy conversation with a young boy while on his flight to Prague, in which the two discussed his mission under the guise of it being a video game. As it was felt Cage [[NiceToTheWaiter entertaining the kid]] would mark him as unequivocally good too early in the film, the scene was almost completely cut, eliminating the child actor's part in the film in the process.
2	* FakeNationality: Czech agent Milan Sova is played by the German-born Richy Müller.

14	* ThrowItIn: A rather dark version. Diesel's stunt double died near the ending, filming the scene where Cage parachutes onto the sub. The stuntman landed perfectly during the first take; unfortunately, during the second take, he hit the bridge, fell unconscious into the river, and [[CruelAndUnusualDeath died of the brain trauma caused by the impact before he could drown or freeze to death]]. Footage of the fatal take made it into the final film.
