* AuthorsSavingThrow: After a friend of his [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/601161833/4950103668 told him]] that killing off Quinlan Vos in his Ultraverse version of ''Franchise/StarWars'' negates his EarnYourHappyEnding fate in the Legends continuity (though the reason why he killed him off was due to his frustration towards Lucasfilm sparing him with plans to use him for a future project that went nowhere), he decided to reverse this decision and spared his fate, though also reversing the SparedByTheAdaptation on most of the Jedi who initially survived Order 66 (barring Luminara Unduli and Shaak Ti) in this version.
* CreatorBacklash: The creator has [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/601161833/4950005119 admitted]] that Barriss' original fate in the Ultraverse in which she decides to leave the Jedi by joining Bo-Katan's Mandalorian squad, was in hindsight not a good idea after all due to his friend pointing out the team's reputation of being violent and murderous soldiers and said that he struggled to create a better fate than having her killed in action in the Legends canon or revealed to be the bomber of the Jedi Temple in the main canon.
* CreatorsFavouriteEpisode: [=AdrenalineRush1996=] has [[https://www.deviantart.com/adrenalinerush1996/journal/2021-and-Me-Part-IV-of-X-Personal-favourites-902364369 cited]] the Titans/X-Men Mega Index for the Ultraverse among his favourite works, added to the fact that the Titans is his favourite DC Comics team and the X-Men is his favourite Marvel Comics team.
* HypotheticalCasting: For the Ultraverse versions of ''Star Wars'' and ''Star Trek'', the creator has respectively pictured Creator/SebastianStan and Creator/FlorencePugh as Luke and Mara's children Owen and Kira, hence why Owen looks like an younger and taller version of his father Luke (see Identical Grandson in the main page) as well as Creator/OliviaWilde and Creator/JaredPadalecki as Han and Leia's children Jaina and Jacen Solo along with Creator/RosamundPike as Christine Chapel since as for the latter, the Ultraverse version of ''Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries'' is based on the original and the [[Film/StarTrek2009 Kelvin]] [[Film/StarTrekIntoDarkness alternate]] [[Film/StarTrekBeyond reality]].
** He's also pictured Creator/BradHawkins as playing the Ultraverse incarnation of [[Series/PowerRangersTurbo Justin Stewart]] along with Creator/ReubenLangdon as playing the Phantom Ranger, who in the Ultraverse is Zordon and Dulcea's son Zoltar.
** He has pictured the Ultraverse incarnation of Mutt Williams, going by his real name Henry Jones III to be played by Creator/AldenEhrenreich, as a nod to his role as the younger version of Creator/HarrisonFord's character Han Solo in ''Film/SoloAStarWarsStory'' as well as depicting Creator/LoganLerman as Henry Jones IV along with Creator/OscarIsaac as [[Literature/DirkPittAdventures Dirk Pitt]].
* InspirationForTheWork: The creator has cited ''Fanfic/Earth27'' and ''TabletopGame/{{GURPS}}'' as notable influences on the Ultraverse.
* MissingEpisode: Of a sort. While the content from July 2021 to December 2023 were restored after the two-day suspension, the details of each entry were unfortunately blanked out barring the description and tags. Unlike the September 2020-June 2021 entries, which were under the site's old editing tool Sta.sh, the aforementioned entries were under the new editing tool following their Eclipse relaunch and unfortunately, weren't archived like those from Sta.sh.
* RefittedForSequel: A lot of the [[WhatCouldHaveBeen scrapped ideas]] are incorporated into this series.
** The Enterprise's original name is Yorktown, a nod to the starship's original name in early concepts of ''Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries''.
** [[ComicBook/{{Cyclops}} Scott]] and Alex Summers being cousins of [[Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer Buffy and Dawn Summers]] is a nod to Creator/JossWhedon's aborted idea of the vampire slayer being related to the X-Man in his ''X-Men'' [[ComicBook/AstonishingXMen run]].
** Acxa becoming the Purple Paladin is a nod to the original plans to have her becoming a Paladin of Voltron in the seventh season finale of ''WesternAnimation/VoltronLegendaryDefender'', though having her being Hunk's replacement rather than being the SixthRanger like in this one.
** ComicBook/{{Wolverine}} being related to Sabretooth is a nod to Creator/ChrisClaremont's original ideas of having the latter being the former's father though in this continuity, the latter is the former's nephew.
** ComicBook/SpiderMan being the father of his [[ComicBook/GwenStacy ex-girlfriend]]'s children Gabriel and Sarah is a nod to Creator/JMichaelStraczynski's original plans for the character in his [[ComicBook/TheAmazingSpiderManJMichaelStraczynski run]] before ExecutiveMeddling from Creator/JoeQuesada forced him to change the identity of the father to ComicBook/GreenGoblin, a move that angered many fans and arguably the reason why ''Sins Past'' and ''Sins Remembered'' are considered among the most hated ''Spider-Man'' storylines.
** Rey's last name Solana is a nod to Creator/ColinTrevorrow's surname for the character in ''Duel of the Fates'', his original plans for ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker'' before his departure due to CreativeDifferences.
** Tim Drake being the new Nightwing is a nod to Creator/TomKing's original plans for the character in his ''Batman'' [[ComicBook/BatmanTomKing run]].
** The Big Hero 6's rogue gallery having a trio of female criminals called the Fujitas is a nod to their [[DeletedRole Deleted Roles]] from the original script of the [[WesternAnimation/BigHero6 2014 film]].
** ''Film/THX1138'' being part of ''Franchise/StarWars'' is a nod to the CanonWelding of the two in ''Fanfic/AlienExodus'', a proposed novel set in the [[Franchise/StarWarsLegends Legends]] continuity that was eventually reworked into ''Literature/AlienChronicles'', though the original plot was incorporated into ''Literature/StarWarsCultEncountersAndSupernaturalEncounters''.
** ''Series/TheOrville'' being part of ''Franchise/StarTrek'' is a nod to the series' origins as Creator/SethMacFarlane's pitch for a new ''Trek'' series to CBS.
* SeriesHiatus: The series took a seven-month break from December 2021 to July 2022 and then an eleven-month break from December 2022 to November 2023.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** Days prior to the shutdown and eventual reactivation in December 2023, he announced plans to include ''WesternAnimation/AtomicBetty'' and ''WesternAnimation/BlueEyeSamurai'' along with updating some of the entries from ''Franchise/StarTrek'' and ''Franchise/StarWars'' to include characters from ''[[Series/StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Strange New Worlds]]'' for the former and from ''[[Anime/StarWarsVisions Visions]]'' for the latter.
** In relation to the shutdown and reactivation, he admitted on his main DA account that in hindsight, he should've archived the series on Google Drive for it to be posted on Archive on Our Own as a backup plan if something went wrong.
* WordOfGay: According to the creator himself, the reason why Iceman is openly bisexual than openly gay in his continuity is because he wasn't happy with Creator/BrianMichaelBendis' handling of the character's sexuality in his X-Men run as well as acknowledging that bisexual men don't have much representation (with one of the notable exceptions being John Constantine and even his bisexuality has been downplayed or not even referenced in some adaptations) when compared to bisexual women, hence averting the NoBisexuals trope.
