* BadExportForYou: The French dub is all over the place which is a shame considering that it stars seasoned professionals Creator/KellyMarot and Creator/DonaldReignoux as its main leads and did the effort of being the only language that localized the rap battles. However most of the rest of the dub ranges from amateurish to horribly miscast, lines go over each other or have awkward pauses between them, there's not even an attempt to lip synch, and a clear lack of direction that even affects the two leads. Even the aforementioned rap battles, [[GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff something usually praised by non-French fans]], sound so great out of context because they were localized completely dissociated from the actual rhythm game they are attached to, making it an unsatisfying nightmare to actually play.
* CastingGag: Nikki Simmons is possibly most well known for singing several songs in VideoGame/CytusII associated with the story's in-universe IdolSinger, PAFF, who performs mostly in virtual space. In this game, she not only sings the ImageSong for a VirtualCelebrity but also voices her.
* TheDanza: Joey shares his first name with his voice actor.
* InternationalCoProduction: Between the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Malaysia. The game is also voice acted in multiple languages.
* MultipleLanguagesSameVoiceActor:
** [[WebVideo/TheAnimeMan Joey Bizinger]] voices his cameo character in both English and Japanese.
** Maxime "Sora" Cohen voices Amal the Unicorn in the language tracks for English, French, and Japanese.
* ProductionPosse: Andy Tunstall, Falk Au Yeong, James Landino, and Funk Fiction are the game's main composers. All four of them previously worked on ''VideoGame/SparkTheElectricJester'' and its [[VideoGame/SparkTheElectricJester2 sequel]], two ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' [[VideoGame/SonicBeforeTheSequel fan]] [[VideoGame/SonicAfterTheSequel games]] and contributed tracks to ''VideoGame/CytusII''[[note]]The game lampshades this by crediting Falk, Pejman, and James collectively as a group called Cliqtrack[[/note]].
* SpoiledByTheMerchandise: One of the soundtrack songs, "Vs. Tatiana", was accidentally released a month prior to the launch of the game before being taken down from official music sites; the song not only revealed Tatiana is a boss in the game, [[spoiler:but the song has a rock motif, which gave credence to the ultimately confirmed theory that Tatiana was Kul Fyra.]]
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** In the final phase of 1010's fight, the robot factory was originally meant to follow Neon J's dance moves in a way similar to Mo-cap, but was cut out due to technical limitations. It was finally [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT7SpexjhAc added]] to a post-release patch of the Encore Edition.
** The earliest concepts of Sayu had legs and a rabbit motif instead of being a mermaid. Shades of this concept still lingers in her verbal tic "pyun", which is Japanese onomatopoeia for a rabbit's hopping.
** Some very early concept art of DJ Subatomic Supernova portrayed him with a more human-like head; his name was also originally going to be "DJ Galaxy". The final design was also originally going to have pants and boots.
** Originally, all five members of 1010 looked identical; this concept made it all the way to the "Welcome to Vinyl City" trailer before the character designs were eventually finalized to have each member appear more distinct.
* WordOfGay: Creative director Daim Dziauddin [[https://clips.twitch.tv/CreativeMoralSquirrelCoolStoryBob-4BaVdZ9pFpfsqhid confirmed on Twitch]] that Eve is demisexual.
