1	* ActingForTwo: Brian Meehl (nee Muehl) performed both Bogge and Mr. Knack.
2	* CreatorsOddball:
3	** When you think of [[Creator/RLStine one of the most celebrated authors of young adult horror]], this would probably be the last thing you would expect. (Although he actually ''started'' his career as a humor writer, he already had at least a few horror books under his belt by this point.)
4	** Interestingly, Brian Meehl (Bogge, Mr. Knack) is also a writer, with several young adult novels (and TV series, including this one) under his own belt.
5	* EditedForSyndication: Two configurations of the show exist. The original hour-long configuration that was aired on Nick Jr. up until 1996, and a cut-down half-hour configuration for international broadcast, Cable in the Classroom, and Nickelodeon timeslots with commercials. The half-hour version is the one most commonly seen in later runs and on Creator/ParamountPlus for various reasons, not least of which because it omits segments such as animated shorts and musical guests that would pose legal issues.

7	** The ''Literature/{{Goosebumps}}'' writer worked on a preschool show about medieval [[{{Muppet}} Muppets]]. Well, Muppet ''imitators'', anyway. Who knew?
8	** The puppeteers of each of the six main characters were all ''Series/SesameStreet'' veterans. Notably, Brian Muehl and Pam Arciero, the puppeteers behind Bogge and Quagmire respectively, had ''both'' previously performed Oscar the Grouch's girlfriend, Grundgetta, with Arciero succeeding Muehl in the role after his departure from the show. Muehl was also one of the earlier performers of Elmo in the years before Kevin Clash took over the role. Noel [=MacNeal=] (Magellan) would go on to perform as the title character on ''Series/BearInTheBigBlueHouse'' alongside Jim Kroupa (Batly), having previously worked on this show and ''Series/TheGreatSpaceCoaster''. Eureeka herself, Cheryl Blaylock, would go on to play characters on ''Series/BetweenTheLions'', ''Series/{{Oobi}}'', and ''Series/BluesRoom''.
9	* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The preservation of ''Eureeka's Castle'' is pretty headache inducing.
10	** The show only had three home video releases in its lifetime - two clip compilations and a release of the show's ChristmasEpisode. All three of these releases remained in-print for quite sometime after the show left Nickelodeon, but never released on DVD.
11	** The show, prior to 2021, also never had been released digitally on [=iTunes=], Creator/{{Hulu}}, Creator/{{Netflix}}, or Creator/PrimeVideo, likely because of the rights issues concerning the animated shorts that would play in each episode. 26 episodes of the show's half-hour configuration were put on Creator/ParamountPlus in April 2021.
12	** Then comes the complications of the in-house preservation of the show. Sometime shortly after the show's run on Nickelodeon ended in 1996, the master tapes of the hour-long episodes were wiped, which led to the 52 half-hour re-edits of the show to become the definitive version. These are what ran on Nickelodeon in 1998-1999, on Noggin and, as mentioned above, what was put on Paramount Plus. The remaining 26 half-hour episodes not on Paramount Plus remain in Nickelodeon's archives, preserved but not airing anywhere. The hour-long episodes remain totally lost with the exception of aged VHS recordings and Website/YouTube uploads. Not even Website/TheOtherWiki lists them all. Only recently has there been a fan effort to properly catalog the show.
13	** As for merchandise, all of it is long out of print and hard to find with the exception of the Pizza Hut puppets which are common thrift store and eBay fodder.

15	** Pizza Hut once did a tie-in with the show in 1990 that consisted of finger puppets of Eureeka, Magellan, and Batly.
16	** Hardee’s also released a set of 4 rubber stamps consisting of Eureeka, Batly, Magellan, and Bogge and Quagmire together in 1994.
17	* TheMerch: In addition to the aforementioned kids' meal toys, there were also several children's books published by [[Literature/LittleGoldenBooks Golden Books]].
18	* RealLifeRelative: In the Mexican Spanish dub, Eureeka and Magellan's voice actors (Creator/RocioGarcel and Jorge Roig) are married in RealLife. In the same way Quagmire and Eureeka's voice actresses (Rocio and Sylvia Garcel) are sisters as well.
19	* RecycledSoundtrack: The song "What A Scary, Scary, Scary, Scary Monster" from the HalloweenEpisode was later reused in the HalloweenEpisode of ''Series/GullahGullahIsland''.
