The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad It's unknown why the title spells the main character's name as "Sindbad" instead of "Sinbad". was a stunt show located in The Lost Continent area of Universal's Islands of Adventure. It opened with the park on May 28, 1999.

Similar to its neighboring attraction, Theatre/PoseidonsFury, the show was not based off of an intellectual property, rather being an attraction that draws loose inspiration from the Literature/SinbadTheSailor tales; and despite what its title may imply, the show had no connection to Film/The7thVoyageOfSinbad film.

The story of the show involved Sindbad and his new sidekick, Kabob, arriving at a mysterious cave, known as "The Grotto of Lost Souls", in search of treasure to plunder. It is not long before they are met with the ultimate treasure - The Sultan's Heart - a magical artifact that carries an unbelievable amount of power. Things take off when they discover the artifact's owner, an evil sorceress named Miseria, who does not take kindly to the two and attempts to destroy them through various means. In the midst of the chaos, the duo come across Amoura, a princess that was kidnapped and imprisoned by the sorceress. The rest of the show follows the three in their battle against Miseria, along with her band of supernatural mooks.

After continuing to run with very few changes for almost twenty years, the show was very quietly and permanently closed on September 15, 2018.

----
!!Tropes shown in The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad include:

* AlasPoorVillain: Probably unintentional on the writers' part, but Miseria's painfully over-the-top death coupled with her horrific screaming makes you kinda feel sorry for her.
* AnachronismStew: The show has a lot of these with all of the present day pop-culture references the characters make. Along with that, much of the dialogue altogether comes off as modern-sounding.
* AndYourLittleDogToo: Parodied. As Amoura escapes from Miseria, the latter exclaims, "I'll get you, Amoura, and your little Kabob too!"
* ArtifactOfDoom: The Sultan's Heart is shown as being a incredibly powerful jewel that's capable of causing tremendous destruction.
* AwkwardKiss: Sindbad and Amoura have no trouble with their kiss, but Kabob is the one to feel awkward while seeing them kiss.
* BedlahBabe: Amoura wears the typical Arabian-inspired, midriff-bearing outfit.
* BigBad: The evil sorceress Miseria serves as the show's antagonist.
* BigNo: Miseria does one upon seeing all of her minions get defeated by the protagonists.
* Big "YEAH!": Right after destroying Miseria, Sindbad does this.
* BoobyTrap: When Sindbad and Kabob first attempt to retrieve the Sultan's Heart, they come across several traps, such as collapsing terrain and falling cave spikes.
* BoundAndGagged: Amoura is first shown being bound by rope to a part of a shipwreck, though she is easily freed by Sindbad.
* BullyingADragon: All of the protagonists aren't afraid of mocking Miseria and treating her as a non-threat, despite the power that she wields.
* BumblingSidekick: Kabob, full stop. The show uses his incompetence as the primary source of comedy.
* ButtMonkey: Kabob is almost always on the receiving end of every slapstick gag in the show.
* CirclingBirdies: When the zombie hits his head on a rock, a chirping bird sound effect is played.
* CowardlySidekick: Most of Kabob's action sequences have him trying to run away from the enemies rather than face them. Additionally, at the start of the show he doesn't think it's worth it to save the princess until Sindbad convinces him.
* DamselOutOfDistress: Averted at first when Amoura needs Sindbad to cut her free, but from then on she's able to fully handle herself in combat and get out of dangerous situations.
* DarkActionGirl: Miseria, the main villain of the show, is able to put a somewhat-decent fight with the Sultan's Heart.
* DarkIsEvil: There is a clear clash in colors between the outfit Miseria wears and the outfits the heroes wear.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: When Miseria falls down into a pit to her death, it results in a huge explosion.
* DisneyVillainDeath: Virtually all of the mooks wind up falling to their deaths.
* DontSneakUpOnMeLikeThat: When trying to regroup with her, Kabob sneaks up on Amoura and taps her on the shoulder, which triggers her reflexes, resulting in him getting smacked in the head by a wooden board.
* DualWielding: In one of the fights, both Sindbad and the swordsman mook are wielding two swords.
* EverythingsDeaderWithZombies: One of Miseria's mooks is a zombie, though it doesn't seem to have any interest in eating.
* EvilIsHammy: There are very few villainesses that love to masquerade their evilness as much as Miseria does.
* EvilLaugh: Being something that comes naturally with the above trope, Miseria does this a lot.
* EvilSorcerer: Miseria is this, though does not seem to have as much power without the Sultan's Heart.
* ExcusePlot: There really isn't that much plot to the show, and it all really seems to be just an excuse to show off a bunch of stunts and special effects.
* FluffyFashionFeathers: The top of Miseria's headpiece has black feathers.
* Flynning: The sword fights in the show are very over-the-top and obviously are meant to be more entertaining than realistic.
* ForTheEvulz: The show gives no motivation for why Miseria kidnapped Amoura, among her other actions.
* FourthWallObserver: Kabob and the zombie mook are the only characters that are aware about the audience, and are able to interact with them.
* HighCollarOfDoom: Miseria's outfit features a red high collar.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Miseria is killed when Sindbad uses her own Sultan's Heart weapon on her.
* IBrokeANail: After beating down one of the mooks, Amoura gets angry over the fact that she broke a nail during the fight.
* IMeantToDoThat: When Sindbad gets startled by a skeleton and falls down, he says this.
* ImOkay: Kabob constantly says this as a RunningGag in the show for whenever he falls down.
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Aiming is definitely not Miseria's expertise, as she misses the protagonists nearly every time she fires energy blasts at them.
* ImprovisedWeapon: Several fights in the show involve the protagonists using whatever nearby objects they can find to whack the enemies with.
* KillItWithFire: Sindbad finishes Miseria off by first setting her on fire, which eventually results in her falling into a pit and exploding.
* KitchenSinkIncluded: When Sindbad is fighting off the swordsman mook, he strikes him with several different objects before picking up a kitchen sink. He pauses, looks at the sink, and then shrugs before hitting the mook with it.
* LiteralAssKicking: In Kabob's fight with zombie mook, he hits him over the butt with an oar several times.
* LuredIntoATrap: Sindbad and Kabob are tricked and cornered by Miseria when she disguises herself as Amoura.
* MagicStaff: The weapon that Miseria uses, with the Sultan's Heart being what powers it.
* MindOverMatter: In order to trap the heroes, Miseria uses her scepter pushes their boat away, blocking their only method of escape. At the end of the show, they use the same scepter to bring it back.
* MoneyFetish: Kabob is extremely obsessed with getting his hands on some treasure, to the point that he seems to be more focused on it than getting out alive, and his greed does in fact wind up landing him in some dangerous situations.
* MrFanservice: Sindbad spends most of the show wearing nothing but a very thin jacket for a top.
* MrsRobinson: Played with in some of the shows where Sindbad prepares to fight Miseria, but also blurts out "All right, you cougar!" In turn, Miseria gets a bit aroused by calling him a "flirt" and blows him a kiss, which befuddles Sindbad.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: "Miseria" is pretty clearly meant to sound like "misery".
* NoPeripheralVision: Twice in the show Kabob is unable to understand that the zombie mook is right behind him, in both cases he only finally spots the zombie unintentionally.
* NotBad: When she sees Sindbad bring a good beatdown on one of Miseria's mooks, Amoura tells him, "Not bad...for a boy."
* ObviouslyEvil: Miseria's outfit looks so blatantly evil that even Disney Villains would make fun of her.
* OpeningNarration: The show starts with a narrator giving the backstory behind what's about to happen.
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: The zombie mook, while not bright, is able to move swiftly, and in some variations of the show, is able to wield a sword against the heroes.
* OverlyLongScream: Upon getting set on fire, Miseria screams for about 13 seconds before finally falling to her doom.
* PlayingWithFire: Though he doesn't use it in an attack, one of the mooks is able to form fire in the palm of his hand.
* PreMortemOneLiner: Before killing Miseria, Sindbad says, "Sorceress, you're fired!"
* PrettyPrincessPowerhouse: While starting off as a pink-dressed distressed damsel, Amoura is soon after able to hold her own in combat with Miseria's mooks and stands up to the witch multiple times herself.
* PrincessesPreferPink: Amoura's outfit is mostly pink, with some small sections of blue.
* ProjectileKiss: Miseria blows a kiss to Sindbad, where depending upon the show, is either disgusted or confused.
* PungeonMaster: Kabob is a never-ending source of puns throughout the show, many of which elicit groans from the other characters.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Miseria's outfit is a combination of purple, black, and red.
* ScreamingWarrior: All of Miseria's mooks make loud, demon-like screeching sounds while fighting the protagonists.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Upon being faced against both Sindbad and Amoura, the zombie mook turns towards the audience, waves goodbye, and then jumps off towards his own death.
* SeeYouInHell: Upon attempting to kill him, Miseria shouts, "I'll see you in hell, Sindbad!" He simply responds with, "Ladies first!", before firing a cannon at her.
* SelfDisposingVillain: Nearly all of the mooks meet their demise due to being tricked by the heroes into jumping to their doom. The zombie mook jumps off out of his own decision when faced against Sindbad and Amoura.
* SheFu: In most of her fights, Amoura does a lot of unnecessary flips and cartwheels.
* ShoutOut: The show is filled with numerous pop-culture references that can vary depending on the show. To give a few examples, Kabob at first mistakes Miseria for Music/LadyGaga, and Miseria at one point says to Sindbad, "Silence! I kill you!"
* ShutUpHannibal: Towards the climax, when Miseria begins to mock Sindbad for his interest in the princess, Amoura responds, "Hey! Do you ever SHUT UP?!"
* SilenceYouFool: In response to him making endless jokes, Miseria shouts this at Kabob before shooting him with an energy blast.
* SurroundedByIdiots: After seeing the heroes plow through her minions, Miseria bemoans, "Why is it so hard to find good help these days?"
* Tagline: "A stunt show of heroic proportions!"
* Teleportation: In the cave, there's a series of giant pots; and when the characters jump into one, they come out of another one that's a distance away. Both the protagonists and antagonists take advantage of these throughout the show.
* TemptingFate: After Sindbad misses Miseria with a cannon, she gloats how she still has "the Sultan's Heart and all its power", right before Kabob sneaks up from behind and snatches it from her.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Miseria's death. First, Sindbad sets her on fire, she runs around screaming for a moment before plunging into a pit, then she explodes.
* ThisWayToCertainDeath: The cave setting of the show is filled with the skeletons of those who dealt with Miseria before, something Sindbad and Kabob both take notice of.
* ThouShaltNotKill: Very much averted. Sindbad uses the Sultan's Heart to kill Miseria in a horribly cruel way, even though he could've easily used the artifact's magic to merely incapacitate her instead.
* ThreatBackfire: Occurs just before Sindbad finishes Miseria off.
-->Sindbad: Miseria, your evil days are done!
-->Miseria: Over my dead body!
-->Sindbad: (shrugs) As you wish.
* ToiletHumor: A few times, most notably when Kabob unintentionally flatulates in the zombie mook's face while trying to look for it.
* UseYourHead: When she gets recaptured by Miseria, Amoura headbutts her in order to break free.
* VillainessesWantHeroes: Miseria displays a lot of attraction towards Sindbad, but gets jealous and upset near the end when she sees that he's taken a liking to Amoura instead of her.
* VillainousBreakdown: Rather than beg for her life, Miseria reacts with a huge tantrum when Sindbad gets a hold of her scepter.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Miseria's voice at certain points (usually when angered) gets much deeper and demonic-sounding.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: At the beginning of the show, Miseria makes herself look like Amoura in order to fool Sindbad and Kabob into a trap.
* WalkingShirtlessScene:
* WhyWontYouDie: After they defeat all her mooks, Miseria angrily shouts at the protagonists, "Do you ever die?!"
* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: This is Sindbad's response to seeing another mook pop up right after he just defeated one.
* YouNeedABreathMint: When the zombie growls close to Kabob's face, he responds by recommending he get some Tic-Tacs.
* ZombiePukeAttack: Played with. The zombie mook is shown vomiting out green goo several times, but doesn't use it as an attack.
