* [[https://youtu.be/Y35Q7xXmTUQ "The Virgin Child Makes Her Wish Without Feeling Anything"]], the song sung by Dr. Peace just before your fight with him.
** The title, while appropriate, does absolutely nothing to convey what you will feel listening to this song. It must be heard to truly understand.
*** In fact, the song perfectly encapsulates [[spoiler: Jeane's]] character and motivations perfectly, and as noted elsewhere, her entire life's story is one big TearJerker.
* Burying Holly Summers. It's made even worse as Travis himself didn't want to kill her, not knowing what to do as Holly placed the grenade in her mouth and killed herself right in front of his eyes. He immediately hugs her and whispers for her to forgive him. Her attitude toward him drives it home; she states that she could 'accept defeat' from the likes of him, and envisioned that Travis held her in his arms. She even thanked him for letting her die with the image that perhaps there was someone, ''anyone'', who would free her from this cycle of death, and that she would rather have either Travis kill her than what the UAA plans for her.
-->'''Holly:''' I will let you in on a little secret. Assassins must die when they lose?\
'''Travis:''' Huh?\
'''Holly''' ''(reveals a grenade)'' Than you...the moment you hesitated, I felt your embrace.\
'''Travis:''' Wait, hold up...\
'''Holly:''' ''(removes the pin from said grenade)'' Academics like to fantasize too, you know? ''(smiles as she bites on the grenade)''\
'''Travis:''' [[OhCrap Wait, Number 6!]] [[BigNo NO!!!]]\
''(The grenade explodes, taking Holly's head and one of her arms off, blood everywhere. Travis stares at her for a few seconds before gently embracing what's left)''\
'''Travis:''' ''(solemnly)'' "Forgive me, Number 6. I never meant to shame you..."
** Her last request? "Open your eyes and never look back. Promise...never forget me."
** "Forgive me Holly. I was too late in saying this, but I love your soul. Rest in peace."
** Even more tragic is that Travis doesn't hug her until ''after'' she dies, which truly rings in home how Travis dishonored her request.
* Bad Girl not giving up until Travis tells her she won. She gives a contented little giggle and a nice smile before dying.
** You know her instant kill attack? [[WoundedGazelleGambit Where she cries and if Travis comes near her, she jumps on you?]] Well, there's two animations: the one above, where she cries with one hand, and the other one is with both hands. On the one with both? '''She's actually crying.''' [[YouBastard And you can still attack her anyway.]]
*** Bad Girl crying takes on a whole new level of sad due to the revelations on her backstory in ''Travis Strikes Again''. At this point in her life, all the torture and bloodshed she'd been through had completely broken her and made her into a nihilistic sociopath who seemed to be killing simply because she'd gotten addicted to it, and whose only contact with the father she loved was to have someone film her hits and send them to him. Those times when she's actually crying now come off more like Charlotte coming to terms with just how much her life has spiraled out of control.
* "Sorry, [[spoiler: Jeane]]. This hurts me too." It was a hard, annoying fight to be sure, but...
