3	* In the storage area you hear many flashbacks where a little girl is fleeing from her pursuer. That would be Daniel after going over the edge. Her dialogue is mostly screaming at her attacker to leave her be, but one sad line sticks out. "Please let me go! I won't tell anyone, I swear! I just want to go home..."
4	* Daniel's confession is a very emotional moment from the game too. He is so filled with anger, regret and sorrow that he can't stop thinking of all the horrible things he had done, and cannot stop crying, he resorts on drinking the amnesia potion to save his sanity.
5	* Alois' UndyingLoyalty to Justine tends to envoke sympathy from many fans. It's helped by the fact if he kills Justine, he says "Hush now... It's all right..." After everything she did, he still loves and forgives her.
6	** All of the Suitors' conditions. They are tortured horribly just to be used in Justine's sick games. Except maybe [[DomesticAbuse Basile]].
7	* While Alexander did horrible things, it's heartbreaking when he begs Daniel not knock down pillars because he's THIS close to getting home and to his love.
8	-->'''Alexander''': I'm just like you, Daniel. A prisoner of circumstance. Trapped in a world I no longer recognise. As you gain your freedom, will you deny me mine? We are so close now. Closer than I've been for centuries.
9	** And even if you let Alexander win, it turns out in ''Amnesia Rebirth'' that his homeworld [[AllForNothing is already destroyed]] by the Shadow. So in the end, he has nothing left.
