Karkat sees Vriska's messages, concludes that they're exactly how he's feeling about himself, and further concludes that Vriska has to be his kismesis because of that. Terezi was also listening in on this conversation and proceeded to absolutely destroy Vriska's redrom attempts at Karkat.
