7	''Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy'' is a seven-part miniseries based on the first book in Creator/JohnLeCarre's ''Literature/TheQuestForKarla'' trilogy; it aired in 1979 and starred Creator/AlecGuinness as [[UsefulNotes/SecretIntelligenceService British Intelligence officer]] George Smiley.
