3	Newspapers are delivered to the agents which predict the deaths of various friends of theirs. These predictions come true, despite their efforts to prevent them, and investigation leads to the shop which printed the papers. From there the trail leads to a tarot card reader and then to a self-declared supergenius named Braine, who is possessed of a souped-up wheelchair, a nasty lieutenant named Leeto and a desire to take over the world.

9	* AllPartOfTheShow: Double-subverted. Jim and Artie think that the bomb that just appeared on-stage is real, but the performer reveals that it's just a gag prop. Then it explodes anyway.

11	* CartoonBomb: One of these kills the stage magician Almeric. It even pops out a little flag with the word "bang" written on it, to complete the cartoon effect. It then explodes for real.
12	* DiegeticSwitch: Artie whistles a little tune while he and Jim break into a printer's shop. As he holds the final note it transitions seamlessly into the background music which plays as they search the place.

22	* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: The explosion that kills Braine and his doubles sends tremors through the room where the real world leaders are meeting. They look around the room for a bit, then return to business without any comment.
