!!Tropes:

* BrickJoke: Homer's CPR is to the rhythm of a Bee Gees song. He thinks it's "How Deep Is Your Love", even after Lenny suggests the faster beat "Stayin' Alive". Later, Bart has to do CPR on Grandpa, and he [[StrangeMindsThinkAlike also]] uses "How Deep Is Your Love".
* TheDeadRiseToAdvertise: The Bleeding Gums Murphy hologram. The company also uses other celebrities, including Princess Diana and Gandhi.
* DrivenToSuicide: Moe, as usual. Unlike most cases, this one is played for drama, with Homer and his friends panicking once they find out Moe hung himself, and desperately try to resuscitate him.
* ForInconveniencePressOne: The suicide hotline Moe called in hopes of having human contact. He accidentally hangs himself while waiting for them to finish listing all the options.
* MagicFeather: The suit for Moe, which causes others to treat him better and directly leads to his whiskey going public. When he loses the suit, Marge tells him the magic was inside him all along, even referencing ''WesternAnimation/{{Dumbo}}'', the TropeNamer itself. Subverted when Moe goes to the public stock presentation without the suit, his appearance causing the company to collapse immediately.
* MyCountryTisOfTheeThatISting: When Moe is speaking about his whiskey at the public stock presentation, the biggest value drop takes place when he says he'll use the best ingredients available in America.
