When Amethyst quits pro-wrestling, Steven tries to go solo as "Tiger Philanthropist".

!!Tropes:
* TwoDVisualsThreeDEffects: Tiger Philanthropist at one point [[MoneyToThrowAway throws his money into the air]]. The dollar bills floating down are CG animated.
* AccidentalMisnaming: Lars refers to Steven's new wrestling persona, Tiger Philanthropist, as "Tiger Philharmonic".
* AnAesop: Sometimes it's not worth trying to please someone else if they don't know what they want, and you should do what makes you happy.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Lars is unable to answer what he really wants when Steven just plain asks him, since he isn't happy with the changes.
* ClarkKenting: Lars has gone from not knowing that Steven and Tiger are the same person to actively denying it, even when Sadie tells him how obvious it is. [[SelectiveObliviousness His denial reaches the point of self-delusion]], claiming that Tiger Millionaire is some kind of muscular giant.
* ContinuityNod: Thanks to Amethyst discovering the Famethyst and overcoming most of her emotional baggage about being "defective," she doesn't need to wrestle anymore.
* CrossReferencedTitles: To "[[Recap/StevenUniverseS1E9TigerMillionaire Tiger Millionaire]]".
* CurbStompBattle: Steven's solo matches end easily in his favor, even when it's two on one. He and Amethyst get this courtesy of their opponents, mainly because they threw the fight on purpose.
* EvilIsCool: In-universe, it's pretty clear Lars's loss of interest in Tiger Millionaire when he becomes Tiger Philanthropist comes from him not being a {{heel}} (or at least a [[AntiHero unscrupulous face]]) anymore.
* HeelFaceTurn: InUniverse, Tiger Millionaire goes from acting like a smug heel to a philanthropic {{face}}.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Amethyst realizes that quitting wrestling suddenly neglected to consider Steven's feeling, as he thought it was the one thing they did together.
* InvincibleHero: Since ProWrestlingIsReal and Amethyst and Steven are superpowered (half)-aliens fighting PunyEarthlings, they've apparently remained undefeated their whole careers. They eventually decide to [[ThrowingTheFight throw their last match]], if only so someone else can [[PassingTheTorch carry the belt without seeming inferior]].
* InTheHood: Steven wears a cloak before revealing himself as Tiger Philanthropist.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Lars, who complains about whatever Tiger Millionaire/Philanthropist does no matter what, gets so upset at Tiger Millionaire and Purple Puma losing that security drags him out of the arena for trying to interfere with the match.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: "It's like the sequel nobody wanted!"
* MicDrop: Amethyst drops a mic and her belt after announcing she quits wrestling. Like Greg before him, Mr. Smiley complains about how irresponsible this is with expensive mic equipment.
* MoneyToThrowAway: As Tiger Philanthropist, Steven decides to give all of Tiger Millionaire's money away. This often takes the form of showering his defeated opponents in money, [[BondOneLiner telling them to use it to pay their medical bills]].
* NormalFishInATinyPond: Steven handles himself well against ordinary humans, while for actual Gem combat he has to learn battle strategies from Pearl.
* PanderingToTheBase: In-universe, Steven tries taking Lars's suggestions about wrestling as Tiger Millionaire. It doesn't work, mostly because Lars--by his own admission--doesn't really know what he wants.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: This episode highlights how strong Steven ''actually'' is compared to your average human: so strong that he can completely overpower several adults single-handedly and throw them around with very little effort.
* SelectiveObliviousness: Not even having it pointed out to him outright will get Lars to realize Steven and Tiger are the same person.
* SequelEpisode: To "Tiger Millionaire".
* ShouldntYouStopStealing: Subverted; Amethyst only wrestled as a means to vent her pain and feelings of inferiority. Thanks to her CharacterDevelopment, she doesn't need the outlet anymore; as such, wrestling doesn't do much for her anymore, so she quits at the episode's beginning.
* SuperStrongChild: Steven is able to completely dominate several athletic human adults on his own, to the point of being able to throw them around with little effort.
* TakeThatAudience: Lars grimaces that Tiger Millionaire coming back without Purple Puma is "the least he could do," a jab at people who believe that their favorite entertainers owe them something.
* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: InUniverse, Lars is disappointed when Steven changes his gimmick after coming back to the ring.
* TheyCopiedItSoItSucks: In-universe: After Steven and Amethyst quit Mr Smiley introduces two new wrestlers called the "Wolves Of Wallstreet" which Lars calls out for being a ripoff.
* TookALevelInBadass: In their first appearance as "Tiger Millionaire and Purple Puma" Amethyst did all the wrestling while Steven helped by cheating from outside the ring, now Steven and Amethyst are equally capable in the ring and Steven can easily beat opponents without Amethyst.
* UnpleasableFanbase: InUniverse, Lars gets depressed when Amethyst and Steven quit, but when Steven comes back with an overall minor change in his gimmick, Lars declares TheyChangedItNowItSucks. When Steven asks him what he ''actually'' wants, he can't answer.
