!!This episode contains examples of:
* AbsurdlyLongStairway: Perry has to take this down to his lair due to the elevator being out of order. After he gets his mission, he realizes he has to take it up again, but he just looks at it and sighs wearily.
* BadHairDay: Candace gets one at an inconvenient time, since she has a photo shoot with Jeremy. This is what prompts Candace to wear a helmet.
* BookcasePassage: Perry attempts to enter his underground lair through an elevator hidden inside a bookcase, but the elevator turns out to be out of order, so he's forced to take the AbsurdlyLongStairway down.
* CallBack: Major Monogram apologizes to Agent P for the AbsurdlyLongStairway because the elevator maintenance man is apparently on a retreat with the slide-waxing guy, recalling an earlier incident in "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbRagingBully Raging Bully]]".
* CalvinBall: The F-Games are this. It combines several different sports, uses NoodleImplements, and even the rules for scoring are not clear, because at one point, the girls have the square root of π while the boys have a poorly-drawn picture of a duckie.
* CheatersNeverProsper: When the final ball for the giant foosball game rolls into the middle of the board where no one can hit it and Phineas announces the game will likely be a draw, Buford jumps into the game and tries to kick the ball into the goal himself. This only leads to Isabella being able to get one final point needed to break the tie and beat him.
* ContinuityNod: Doofenshmirtz briefly alludes to the story of how he [[Recap/PhineasAndFerbLawnGnomeBeachPartyOfTerror spent his childhood as a lawn gnome]], and even lampshades the fact that he's already told that story (although he thinks he's telling it to someone else).
-->'''Doofenshmirtz''': You remember that story, right? My neighbor Kenny? I don't have to go through—Okay.
* DisasterDominoes: When Doofenshmirtz falls into the pet store, he inadvertently sets off a chain of events that leads to the F-Games stadium being knocked over by a rocket.
* GirlsVsBoysPlot: In trying to prove that women are weaker, Buford sparks Phineas and Ferb's grand idea of the episode- a battle between the genders, playing a [[{{Calvinball}} nonsensical game]] with strange rules. It's [[BullyAndWimpPairing Buford and Baljeet]] against Candace and Isabella, and while it's neck-and-neck for a while, Isabella and Candace eventually win, thanks to the final game being foosball (and Buford attempting to prevent the game from being a draw by cheating).
* LiterallyMinded: When Isabella trash talks Buford, she says, "This is ''my'' house!", but Phineas says, "Technically, this is our garage."
-->'''Ferb''': She's on a roll.
* NoodleImplements: To be expected for what is basically CalvinBall. When Baljeet asks for clarification about one of the rules, he mentions a shuttlecock, rubber chickens, a chokecherry bush, and tangerines.
* OutOfCharacterMoment: Invoked by Doofenshmirtz's Misbehave-inator, which causes show dogs to bully their owners and Buford to renounce his sexism and poor sportsmanship.
-->'''Ferb''': That was completely out of character.
* RegalRinglets: Isabella's remarkable foosball skills style Candace's hair into these.
* TheUnfavorite: Doofenshmirtz's father named the family dog "Only Son".
* YouGoGirl: Isabella challenges Buford to the F-Games to challenge his own sexism. In the end, Isabella and Candace win even after Buford cheats.
