4	Film watched: ''Invaders from the Deep'', a “movie” created by cobbling together four episodes of the children’s marionette show ''Series/Stingray1964''.

6	The KTMA debut of [=MST3K=], it can be found [[https://youtu.be/EXW6-KlMM9Y here.]] The host segments are actually more or less a RecycledScript from the unaired Pilot, and entire production is much more low-key compared to what the show would ultimately become even a couple episodes later.

10	* Joel welcomes everyone to [=MST3K=], and explains “the guys at the station” have sent him ''Invaders from the Deep''.

16	* Joel tries to show off the only other living things on the Satellite, the Vacuum Flowers. Unfortunately, they’ve caught some kind of space disease, and are spewing foam everywhere. Gypsy takes a whiff, and gets infected, too.

19	* Joel tries taking Gypsy’s temperature with a snake-like “reptile” thermometer. Unfortunately, Joel soon discovers he’s caught the illness, too.

22	* Everyone’s recovered from the illness. Joel invites people to call the station, and then shows off his electric bagpipes. Crow gets meta about their true nature, LeaningOnTheFourthWall. He then admits he’s been suppressing his own sickness so he could spray Joel with foam.

26	* AbandonedCatchphrase: Joel sends the audience into the theater with “I’ll go around, you’ll go through”, which he had said in the pilot. This line would quickly be dropped.
27	* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: The very first broadcasted episode of [=MST3K=], so even for the KTMA season, it has some.
28	** Joel and Crow don’t spend the entire time in the theater, occasionally wandering off.
29	** Trace Beaulieu is absent so Josh Weinstein is Crow.
30	** Crow himself is surprisingly subservient and soft-spoken towards Joel.
31	** Joel is referred to as "Joel Hodgson", and not "Joel Robinson".
32	** The Mads aren’t a thing yet outside of the opening titles (which were written and recorded ''after'' the rest of the episode), and Joel explains that “The guys at the station” sent him the movie.

34	** “Beeper” from the pilot hasn’t been developed into Tom Servo yet.
35	* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: At the very end, Crow leans hard enough on it that cracks start to form when he starts getting existential and wondering if Joel’s just a comedian and he’s just a puppet on a set. Joel quietly shrugs off the suggestion.
