[[Recap/MoralOrelS2E16SchoolPageant The episode begins with Orel realizing in horror just what they were singing.]] Namely, a song about hating Jesus. He quickly confronts Rev. Putty with it, and he realizes that the town had been and is being punished for their blasphemy. When he discusses this with the townspeople, he asks Orel to step outside and announces that they're being punished for Orel's actions, but Orel may have been misguided by ''their'' bad advice. Putty declares that the next person to give him advice would go straight to hell. The people decide the best way to avoid giving Orel bad advice is to avoid Orel all together.

Unfortunately, Orel badly wants some advice, and turns to Clay, who directs him to Putty. Putty tries to tell Orel that God forgives him because he's innocent, but gives up and directs him to Ms. Sculptham instead. Ms. Sculptham agrees that children are innocent, but claims that Orel was just listening to her give a soliloquy before directing him to the Christeins. When Mr. Christein finds out Orel thinks God is mad at him, he paints lamb's blood on the doorframe to signify that they were innocent.

Orel seeks out innocent blood, but the blood bank refuses to open. He comes across Coach Stopframe, who tells him painting it on the door was a waste, and bathing in virgin blood can keep him young longer.

The adults look horrified as Orel rounds up his friends and they head to his house. Clay wakes up and heads to the bathroom.

!!Tropes present:

* BreatherEpisode: This is an entirely comedic episode which almost feels like a throwback to the episodes from the previous two seasons, before the CerebusSyndrome took over at the end of season 2. And it is followed by Alone, which many consider one of the darkest episodes of the whole series.
* InsaneTrollLogic: Rev. Putty insists that past events, such as [[Recap/MoralOrelS1E1TheLordsGreatestGift the dead rising]], [[Recap/MoralOrelS2E1GodsImage fires]], and so on were God's punishment for singing the "I Hate You Jesus", despite the fact that ALL of those things happened BEFORE they were singing it, even [[JerkassHasAPoint Clay points out how much a stretch that is]], but Rev Putty insists it because since God is all powerful and omnipresent, he would punish them for doing things BEFORE they would even do it.
* NeverMyFault: Nobody wants to accept responsibility for giving Orel bad advice and they don't want to improve themselves, so they decide the best way to avoid going to hell is to avoid Orel entirely.
