1	This episode begins with the camera crew of a fictional makeover show, following a gaudily dressed woman Marielle di Napoli around for a bit, determining that she is in dire need of a fashion makeover, then knocking on her door. Seeing that it is unlocked, they enter - and find a dead man handcuffed and locked in a dog cage, wearing a collar. The victim is identified as David di Napoli.

3	Suspicion initially falls on Marielle, who had a history of dominating her husband sexually in public. The detectives also trace the man’s collection of stolen comic books and find out they are quite valuable. This is however, disputed by the victim’s friend Marty Ashcroft who was suing him, claiming that the victim roped him into investing in them, causing him to lose money when they fell in value. Ashcroft was being sued by a guy called Felner, who in turn was being sued by the victim. Also, Felner’s wife innocently let it slip that the victim was planning to divorce Marielle.

5	ADA cutter finds out that the three men were actually colluding to hide their money away in “bad investments” so that when they divorce their wives, they can avoid losing assets to alimony. But, when the victim backed out, the other two had the motive to kill him. Cutter then hatches a plan with Marielle to ensnare them.

9	* BondageIsBad: Played with. It appears that the victim David would switch between enjoying being in a submissive role, and hating it, wanting out.
10	* DivorceAssetsConflict: Three guys want to prevent their wives from gaining the upper hands in this, by squirreling money away into “bad investments” so that their exes cannot get them.
11	* {{Dominatrix}}: Marielle liked to be one to her husband(s).
12	* HairTriggerTemper: Marielle is quite easy to set off. First, Ashcroft sets her off when he mentions that he has some of the victim’s stolen comic books. Then, Felner’s defense attorney causes her to erupt on the stand by repeatedly insinuating that Marielle was about to be divorced.
13	* [[INeverSaidItWasPoison I Never Said They Were Pink Cuffs]]: Cutter breaks Felner on cross by getting him to reveal that the victim had pink handcuffs on - which is something only the killer would know of, since Marielle had bought the pink handcuffs the day of the murder.
14	* MurderTheHypotenuse: David apparently poisoned Marielle’s first husband Larry, so he’d eventually get with her.
15	* RunningGag: Lieutenant Van Buren keeps on complaining that Marielle’s outfits are “hideous”!!
