Later, when they need to deliver all the gifts with just a few minutes to spare, Scrooge has the idea of calling for reinforcements to cover several places at once, the diamond's magic working for them all despite being spread all over the world.
44	** When Scrooge gives the nephews and Webby the wool hats, he gets annoyed at them for wanting something like a video game rather then something practical like the hats, which the nephews didn't really like. This foreshadows one of the major reasons for Scrooge and Santa's falling out: namely, that Scrooge didn't think Santa giving the gifts away rather then charging for them was practical, misunderstanding Santa's point.
