* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Katherine is mocked by her weight by an envious ballet dancer and starves herself to lose that allegued weight. However Divatox decides to send her monster Numbor to make Kat weightless, which makes her ''float in the air''.
* CallBack: In the credits scene, Chimp Bulk tries to get Kat's attention through ballet, thinking she'd recognize him did to performing in her King Midas ballet in Recap/PowerRangersZeoS1E39TheRangerWhoCameInFromTheGold
* CompressedVice: Kat's eating disorder, which is never mentioned again.
** Though considering she nearly floated away to the stratosphere due to a simple wind breeze, that may have cured her of wanting to be lighter.
** Not to mention, her almost three-year tenure of fighting the forces of evil must’ve made her realize that she’s maintained excellent physical condition.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Adam didn't listen to Justin explaining his science project at first due to noticing a girl in a swimsuit. Justin himself gets twitterpated by the girl's little sister, much to Adam's annoyance.
* FantasticFragility: Played with, it's revealed by Bulk and Skull (who thought it was a straw) causes the periscope to move around and shake the ship a bit (but does not seem to sink it).
* GreenEyedMonster: A fellow dancer named Myrtle spitefully mocks Katherine for being fat after stealing the lead from her in a rendition of "The Nutcracker Suite". Later she’s seen shooting Kat a DeathGlare at the play's conclusion and doesn’t attempt an apology.
* HateSink: Myrtle exists solely to get the audience to feel sorry for Kat and to gleefully get grilled upon seeing her in the Rat King costume.
* LethalJokeItem: Numbor uses these during the Zord fight (though the last one was a dud).
* MeaningfulName: Numbor, who can add or subtract things and people. Lampshaded by Tanya.
