Candace tries to be in two places at once by using Phineas and Ferb's special shoes that make the wearer super fast, but she accidentally takes the unstable prototypes and cannot handle it. Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz's building is put up for sale and asks Perry to help him cancel it.

!! Tropes:

* AccidentalMisnaming: The realtor tells "Mr. Doofschmidt" that he missed a few payments so they have to sell his building.
-->'''Doofenshmirtz''': The name is "Doofenshmirtz"... like, like in "Doofenshmirtz".
* BaitAndSwitch: "Whoa, honey, look at this. It's like 1973 in here... My favorite year!"
* BrokeEpisode: On Doof's end. He made a bad investment in gargoyles for his building and ended up missing payments on his mortgage, so his building is now being put up for sale much to his chagrin. He attempts to stop the sale by making it sound as unlivable as possible, even though Perry keeps suggesting he call Charlene for a loan.
* ConscienceMakesYouGoBack: At first, Perry bids Doof adieu when the latter says he has no time for an evil scheme because of financial issues, but then Doof makes him feel guilty after saying he might end up living in a cardboard box.
* ContrivedCoincidence: The woman - Annabelle - from the couple trying to buy Doofenshmirtz's lair turns out to be the very same LongLostRelative Jeremy's family misses. Candace accidentally ends up taking her to them.
* DistinguishingMark: Annabelle has a birthmark in the shape of a "J".
* EvolvingCredits: Since this is a new season, once again, the shots at the end of the theme song are replaced with shots from "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbSummerBelongsToYou Summer Belongs to You!]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbAintNoKiddieRide Ain't No Kiddie Ride]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbSpaDay Spa Day]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbTipOfTheDay Tip of the Day]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbWizardOfOdd Wizard of Odd]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbHideAndSeek Hide and Seek]]", "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbTheBaljeatles The Baljeatles]]", and "[[Recap/PhineasAndFerbAtlantis Atlantis]]".
* FlawedPrototype: When testing out his super shoes, Phineas remarks that his pair is so much better than the unstable prototypes that they left at home. Cut to Candace putting on the prototype shoes (which have the words Unstable and Prototype written on the soles).
* GenreSavvy: While Phineas and Ferb watch a documentary on the cheetah, Candace, looking at her watch, points at her brother as if to cue him to say his CatchPhrase.
* IWarnedYou: This is the reason why Doof doesn't want to call Charlene for help, because she will say "I told you so". ("She said, 'Don't get the gargoyles, Heinz.' But what does she know? Gargoyles are a good investment. Name a cheap building with gargoyles.") Sure enough, at the very end, through a NewhartPhoneCall, that's what ends up happening.
* IndianBurialGround: ("True story.") Doof attempts to make his building unsellable by telling a potential buyer this.
* LampshadeHanging:
** To add insult to injury, Stacy's plot is mentioned just to make it more impossible for Candace to do, which is why it gets dropped.
** To avoid talking about her overbooking, Candace asks Phineas, "Don't you have a CatchPhrase to say or something?"
--->'''Phineas''': What is she talking about? Hey, have you seen Perry around? ''(Ferb shrugs)'' Because I haven't.
* LongLostRelative: Annabelle Johnson is one of Hildegard Johnson's grandchildren who "wandered off" and was never heard from again (she wandered off because she got a job at a factory for hanging anvils). It turns out she's the woman trying to buy Doofenshmirtz's lair whom Candace accidentally brings to the Johnson Family Picnic.
* NeverLearnedToRead: Candace "volunteers" Sally to be a reader at the library so she can attend Jeremy's picnic, but as soon as she starts "reading", it's clear that she is illiterate.
* NoEnding: Doof is convinced that he gets to keep his building, but one of the realtors say they have no choice but to tear down the building and replace it with a greeting card factory. At his wit's end, he finally calls Charlene and gets an earful from her. It is not known if she finally gives him a loan, as the last thing we hear from her, via Doof's response, is "I told you so".
* ObnoxiousInLaws: Hildegard has unexplained contempt towards Candace, [[FridgeBrilliance possibly because of her]] [[Recap/PhineasAndFerbCrackThatWhip being her rival's granddaughter]] (which is admittedly not helped by her causing chaos at the reunion), though that changes when Candace brings her long-lost granddaughter to her by accident.
* PoorCommunicationKills: For some reason, Candace never thought to ask Phineas and Ferb if she could borrow their shoes instead of taking a random pair they left behind.
* PowerIncontinence: Candace accidentally takes the unstable prototype super speed shoes, which makes her go just as fast but leaves her incapable of stopping when she wants.
* ShoutOut: The title is a reference to the German film ''Film/LolaRennt'', in English known as "Run, Lola, Run". The song is a style parody of "Wish" from the film.
* SpecialGuest: Creator/TinaFey voices Annabel Johnson, the woman who potentially wants to buy Doof's apartment. Also, Creator/JaneLynch makes her first appearance as Jeremy's mom, and Creator/VickiLawrence returns as Grandma Hilda.
* SuperSpeed: The speed shoes make the wearer go super fast.
* ThatPoorCat: When Candace accidentally kicks a glass of lemonade, an offscreen cat noise is heard.
* TooFastToStop: Candace ends up suffering this since she unknowingly used the unstable prototype version of the speed shoes.
* WatchOutForThatTree: Happens to Candace at the end of the episode's song:
-->''You're light on your feet\
you're almost home free\
[[TemptingFate Nothing can stop you]]\
Look out for that tree!''
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse:
** Candace had to help Mom, Jeremy and also Stacy, but she spends the whole episode attending to only the first two. Did she completely forget Stacy? [[SarcasmMode Yes. Yes she did.]]
