!'''Chapter 7: Bee Prepared'''

!!Tropes That Appear In This Chapter:
* ADayInTheLimelight: This chapter is all about Hiccup's interactions with Augustin.
* BornUnlucky: Remember in [[WesternAnimation/{{Encanto}} the movie]] when Augustin accidentally disturbs a bee hive and gets attacked by a ScaryStingingSwarm? Well, apparently that happens ''every single day'', this being the primary reason why Hiccup decides to make him a bee-proof suit.
--> '''Augustin''': It's the bees, it's always the bees. I try my best not to bother them, but I always end up getting stung anyways. I'm beginning to think it's personal...
* FlawExploitation: The second armor Hiccup makes is primarily out of chainmail. While it works ''at first'', it doesn't take long for the bees to figure out how to get him through the tiny holes in it.
--> If bees could smirk, this Bee would be smirking. Deviously.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: The instigating factor of the chapter is when Ignacio sends Hiccup to pick up some of Julieta's food, having mangled and bloodied his hand when his hammer slipped. Even though he's in pain, he seems to find it more ''funny'' than disturbing. This can be justified since Julieta's gift is a guaranteed panacea for such things.
* RuleOfThree: It's the third attempt at a bee-suit that's a rousing success.
* ScaryImpracticalArmor: Having been raised among bulky men with battle on the brain, Hiccup's first attempt at a bee-suit is a [[AwesomeButImpractical big, bulky, spike-studded suit of armor]]. It's ''so'' big and bulky in-fact, he can't move in it, falling to the ground.
* ShaggyDogStory: After Hiccup manages to make a bee-proof suit that works, he soon finds Augustin covered in bee-stings anyway. It turns out that he decided to go without it because the constant harassment from bees gives him an excuse to see his wife throughout the day. While Hiccup accepts this answer, he also points out how schmaltzy it is.
* TooDumbToLive: One of the reasons Ignacio sends Hiccup to get him healing food is because he was trying to smelt without smelting gloves.
