The Doom Patrol journeys to Paraguay to try to find the Chief. There, they find themselves against a Nazi scientist who can give or remove superpowers.
----
!!Tropes for this episode include:

* {{Absurdism}}: A Nazi puppet show and a {{Steampunk}} mad scientist.
* AllGermansAreNazis: Doctor Von Fuchs is a Nazi and incredibly German with lederhosen-clad minions.
* TheBaroness: More the Rosa Klebb version but not quite. They are Doctor Fuchs' secretaries.
* BlatantLies: In his puppet play, Fuchs claims that he relocated to Paraguay after the war for health reasons (and not [[ArgentinaIsNaziland because he was prosecuted for war crimes]]). Even the Asian tourist doesn't buy this explanation.
* BodyHorror: The other customer is left part plant, part crystal, part dinosaur, and with two heads (the other being a velociraptor). [[SubvertedTrope He thinks this is awesome.]]
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: TheStinger shows the tourist emerging from one of Von Fuchs' chambers with a broccoli hand, a dinosaur head and a rocky arm and leg, showing that he's actually this continuity's interpretation of the iconic Doom Patrol foe Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man.
* CurbStompBattle: A bunch of humans going up against a superstrong metal robot will not end well for them.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The Negative Spirit leaves Larry's body in the lab rafters as payback for Larry's rather reasonable request to set some boundaries. It later wrecks the bus when Larry calls it out on that stunt and starts insulting it.
* DissonantSerenity: The servants of Doctor Fuchs are dressed like they're at Oktoberfest.
* EpicFail: A bus trip meant to take two weeks to get to South America doesn't even get past Kentucky.
* {{Gayngst}}: Larry's inability to love his wife and love affair with a fellow pilot occupy much of the episode via flashbacks.
* HiveMind: Fuchs's employees all appear to be mentally linked to him, if not directly controlled by him.
* HopeSpot: Larry thinks Doctor Fuchs can remove the monster inside him.
* IgnoredEpiphany: The customer of Doctor Fuchs [[EveryoneHasStandards has a moment of re-examination]] when he finds out Fuchs is a former Nazi scientist. Not that it stops him from going through with the procedure.
* {{Keet}}: The tourist Cliff, Larry and Jane encounter in Paraguay, who eventually becomes the Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man.
* MookHorrorShow: Robotman's gruesome killing spree includes GrievousHarmWithABody.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Cliff says this almost word-for-word after [[HallwayFight slaughtering a hallway full of Von Fuchs Nazi minions]].
* {{Oktoberfest}}: Fuchtopia is full of it. Traditional German music is played when the heroes arrive and the staff is wearing Bavarian outfits.
* ProductPlacement: The [=MacBook=] held into the camera by Victor's father.
* ShaggyDogStory: Jane and Cliff murder everyone at the facility, leaving them with no clues as to the Chief's location.
** The entire road trip, since Jane can teleport (or at least one of her personalities can).
* SomethingWeForgot: The Japanese tourist at the end.
* {{Steampunk}}: Doctor Fuchs's technology seems more at home in the Victorian Era than the 1930s he's from--let alone the 21st century.
* TastesLikeFriendship: Cliff tries this method towards Jane, delivering her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It doesn't go too well.
* ThoseWackyNazis: Doctor Fuchs's bizarre lair, Fuchtopia, has shades of this. His servants and devices are also quite wacky.
* TravelMontage: The bus travelling on a map.
* UnstoppableRage: Cliff gives into one of these and slaughters a dozen of Doctor Fuchs's minions.
* VampireVords: The Germans at Fuchtopia speak with a thick German accent.
* WeCanRuleTogether: Doctor Fuchs suggests this to Jane. She rejects his offer by killing him.
* WhiteVoidRoom: Larry has a talk with his energy being in Fuchs's brightly lit transformation chamber.
* {{Zeerust}}: Doctor Fuchs's superscience is very Pulpish and antiquated, even for the 1930s.
