10	* EveryoneKnowsMorse: Charles Charles taught Chuck and Ned how to use Morse Code when they were kids so they could communicate via flashlight from their bedroom windows. Nora [=McQuoddy=] uses it to answer Emerson's questions when Ned revives her as her mouth has been melted by the lighthouse lamp. Ned provides the translation using his childhood skill.
11	* ShoutOut: The lighthouse setting, many of the names, and the song "[[AwardBaitSong Candle on the Water]]" are taken from the 1977 Creator/{{Disney}} movie ''Film/PetesDragon1977'', which had starred Jim "The Narrator" Dale.
