The University is the fourth district investigated in VideoGame/CriminalCaseGrimsborough.

Encompassing a main building, several schooling fronts, a football stadium, and both an event and concert hall, most of the people you meet in this district are, naturally, students and staff alike. While at first it seems that the cases you've been solving here are just your typical murders, soon you discover the works of a mysterious SerialKiller behind a handful of them.

!!Tropes:
* AcademyOfAdventure: Even if most of your "adventures" deal with solving murders, you'll sure have a lot to do in this district.
* ArcVillain: The Rorschach Reaper AKA Tess Goodwin, a SerialKiller who hypnotizes students into killing their friends or relatives they hold a grudge against.
* ArcWords: "IDidWhatIHadToDo The right thing" is said multiple times by various killers as their justification for why they decided to murder. We later learn that this originates from the The Rorschach Reaper's hypnotism.
* BigBadFriend: Even if she's a crazy SerialKiller who tried to kill you, Tess' Fangirl admiration for you seems to be entirely genuine by the end.
* ChekhovsGun: The inkblot test which appears several times as an inconspicuous non-clue in various crime scenes of the district is later revealed to be a part of the Rorschach Reaper's MO, acting as their CallingCard.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Alex gains a lot of prominence during this district, mainly due to his friendship and eventual relationship with Cathy. He even gets to be your partner during a case.
* ElevatorSchool: Implied during Case 40, since the murder happens in an elementary school within the campus grounds.
* RecurringCharacter: The recurring characters you meet throughout the University are Tess Goodwin, Madison Springer, Donna Walker, Cathy King/The @rtist, Chad Baker, and Caroline Fitzgerald.
* SerialKiller: The main focus of the district is catching The Rorschach Reaper, a serial killer using hypnosis to brainwash people and make them commit murder against their loved ones.
* SchoolOfNoStudying: Subverted. Despite some cases taking place outside of school hours, most of the students you meet make references about their classes or grades. Even Tess' motivations for her murders are about writing her thesis.
