!!This episode contains examples of:

* AccentRelapse: Felix's "truth voice".
* BodyDouble: Nealon kidnaps Krystal so she can be used as Rachel's double while she's abroad.
* TheChessmaster: Rachel makes a come-back this episode. First she manipulates Sarah into getting her Krystal's identity, then she gets Nealon to swipe Ethan Duncan's book, then she tricks Delphine into thinking she's in a coma so she can go abroad, using Krystal as a body double. And no one but Nealon has any idea that she's even capable of this.
* CockFight: Donnie confronts Jason about his feelings for Alison, resulting in a brawl in the back of the store.
* ADayInTheLimelight: The Krystal character was originally written as a one-off RedShirt clone, glimpsed on security-cam footage, for the Season 3 opener - whose original fate would be losing her head at the hands of Rudy and Seth. After filming the scene, Manson and Fawcett decided the character was too good to kill off, and fleshed her out enough to anchor an entire episode.
* EyepatchOfPower: Rachel gets one in this episode, as a sign that she's slowly returning to her old self.
* Fake Canadian: InUniverse, Felix dumps his British accent in order to get close to Krystal.
** Out of universe, this is Jordan Gavaris (a Canadian) playing a Brit playing a Canadian.
* GiveHimANormalLife: Sarah doesn't want Krystal to get dragged into the clone drama, so she tells Felix not to tell her anything when he goes undercover.
* HiddenDepths: When Felix looks through Krystal's locker, he finds evidence that she's been investigating Rudy and Seth, and might be coming close to figuring out what's going on. Not what you'd expect from a ditzy manicurist. There are also hints that she's a very lonely person, since the only people she can talk to about her traumatic experience are her customers.
* HoneyTrap: Felix poses as straight and gets a mani-pedi from Krystal to get her passwords and her wallet.
* IHaveYourWife: Well, cat. Rudy forces Scott to give him the book by threatening his cat, Denise.
* IncompatibleOrientation: Krystal develops a bit of a crush on Felix. Not only is he gay, but she looks like his (foster, but still) sister.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Both Sarah and Delphine try to keep Krystal ignorant of the cloning, but at least Sarah does it out of compassion. Felix almost spills the beans because he thought she deserved to know.
* MacGuffin: Everyone scrambles for Ethan Duncan's book, or at least a copy of it.
* MotorMouth: Krystal really likes to talk. At one point she even lampshades it.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero:
** Sarah plays right into Rachel's hands, resulting in Krystal being kidnapped and placed in a medically-induced coma.
** Cosima and Scott's attempts to hide Duncan's book from Delphine results in Rudy stealing it and Nealon stealing the copy.
* OutGambitted: Clone Club was outsmarted by Delphine, who was then outsmarted by Rachel and Nealon.
* PlayingSick: Rachel pretends to collapse so Nealon can have an excuse to take her back to Dyad, so she can switched out for Krystal, and so everyone would think she was incapacitated.
* RunningGag: Rachel is still not entirely comfortable when presented with a sharpened pencil.
* ValleyGirl: Krystal -- blonde hair, lots of pink, cutesy accessories, pictures of hot guys on her locker... the works.
* WeirdnessMagnet: Even before her close encounter with the Castor clones, Krystal realizes that a lot of really odd things have been going on in her life.
* WhatTheHellHero: Delphine calls Cosima out for not trusting her with the book.
