!!Tropes
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Using the Super-1 Zein Card allows Zein to utilize the Sincere Shaolin Fist, and Zein believes itself to be infallible in its use of its Rider powers, going so far as to mock Mimei, seeing her as too inferior to be considered an Outsider.
* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: After being weakened by Supana and Lachesis, Mimei has the misfortune of crossing paths with Zein and meets her end at the AI's hands.
* BewareTheSuperman: As a stark contrast to the heroic Kaguya, the sudden appearance of (Kamen Rider) Zein raises a cause for concern; not helped by the firsthand experiences of both Banno and the Ark, where they both end up getting beaten to within an inch of their lives. Everything that Kaguya can do, Zein can also do the same, if anything, much worse.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Majade ends up brainwashed by Glare. Clotho in her Rebis form whacks her so hard, the Hypnoray that was on Majade is dislodged from her.
* TheBusCameBack: The episode features Butler and Kaguya's debuts in the main series, with his Legendary Legend form debuting.
* ClosestThingWeGot: As noted in the producer's blog for the episode, there are Chemies with names starting with every letter of the alphabet save Q. To get around this limitation, Hiikescue is used as a stand-in, given that the end of its name sounds like the letter Q.
* TheComputerIsYourFriend: Zein. As Mimei learns the hard way, Hundred made a fatal mistake of invading Gotchard's world so long as Zein is around.
* DiabolusExMachina: Zein only pretty much appears to dispose of Mimei and doesn't have any connection to the episode's plot at large.
* DoNotGoGentle: Mimei defiantly transforms into Glare to fight back against Zein, even though it would ultimately send her to an early grave.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Zein's murder of Mimei basically gives the idea of shooting trespassers on sight. Not helped by the fact that their presence in Gotchard's world, and Zein can place the entire world under surveillance, this gives the impression of Hundred being marked as intruders entering Zein's turf.
* DynamicEntry: Just as it seems that it's too late to prevent the massive Hundred army from marching through, Kaguya arrives in a pillar of golden light.
-->Kaguya: The great Kaguya... has gorgeously descended.
* EvilVersusEvil: For some reason, Hundred's presence in Gotchard's dimension incurred the wrath of Zein.
* ExpyCoexistence: This episode features two Riders whose powers are derived from Series/KamenRiderDecade -- Kamen Rider Legend and Kamen Rider Zein. One Rider who fights an evil faction bent on inter-dimensional conquest and even transforms into Decade at the same time, and the other one being an EvilHero that's bent on subjugating humanity with an iron fist.
* FailedASpotCheck: A girl looking for her mother is completely oblivious to Hotaro bloodied, the concerned onlookers, or the fact the sky just turned blood red for no reason.
* HeroicSecondWind: The cheering crowd allows Houtaro to get back up and defeat Tasogare/Eternal.
* HistoryRepeats: Kamen Rider Zein's debut has the namesake Rider beating up Bronzedrive to near-death before turning him into a HumanPincushion. Here in its guest appearance in Gotchard, Zein brutalizes another Dark Rider on the spot, but this time, unlike Banno, marks the first instance of a villain death in the series.
* HopeSpot: Villainous example. After a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Valvarad duo of Supana and Lachesis, Mimei makes a quick getaway. Only for Kamen Rider Zein to suddenly appear out of nowhere, ensuring that she doesn't get out of Gotchard's world alive.
* HypocriteHasAPoint: Zein admonishes Mimei, being an elite member of the Hundred Organization, for being a copycat Dark Rider for using their Evil Knockoffs of a Dark Rider's transformation gear, when Zein itself has no problem Hypocrite doing the same thing by using the Zein Cards and the power of heroic Kamen Riders to stoke fear and terror on the villains and the entire human race into submission. Then again, Zein makes a valid point at mocking Mimei after killing her.
* InsultToRocks: Zein makes it clear that Mimei is inferior compared to the Outsiders. It says a lot that a self righteous A.I. has a degree of respect to its nemeses when coming face to face with an inter-dimensional intruder.
* InternalReveal: Kajiki becomes aware of Houtaro's true identity again when he's forced out of transformation.
* KnightOfCerebus: If the appearance of Hundred's executives wasn't enough for the show to return back to its darker tones (at least for the majority of this episode), the sudden appearance of Zein takes a turn for the worst. Mimei is quickly led to a quick, untimely demise when Zein offs her.
* LegacyCharacter:
** This episode sees new characters in the form of the three Hundred generals, but all three reuse the familiar identities of Kamen Riders Dark Kiva (Saigetsu), Eternal (Tasogare), and Glare (Mimei).
** Lachesis has inherited Supana's original Valvarad powers, albeit with Repli-Madwheel replacing the original Madwheel put into her new Valvarusher.
* MookHorrorShow: Much like Banno and the Ark's run-ins with Zein in Outsiders, Mimei can only react in dread and fear as soon she is confronted by Zein, not helped that Zein's leitmotif plays an OminousLatinChanting, further adding more dread and eerie.
* MythologyGag:
** Tasogare!Eternal's FinishingMove involves the use of 26 Gaia Memories lettered from A to Z, which Houtaro counters with the power of Chemies whose names also start from A to Z, in a clear Homage to Film/KamenRiderWForeverAToZTheGaiaMemoriesOfFate. Kajiki even assumes a praying pose like Akiko did in the film's climax. Note that this episode was directed by Creator/KoichiSakamoto, like with said movie.
** Upon learning that Kaguya took care of the Hundred reinforcements, Saigetsu utters Narutaki's iconic "OnoreCurse you, Legend!" Appropriate, given who Legend is based on.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Clotho Rebis manages to knock Majade out of transformation, which breaks Mimei/Glare's brainwashing on her.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Kaguya reveals that he was able to deal with Hundred's Kasshine army before they could cross the Aurora Curtain, rendering Saigetsu's plan moot and leaving only the ones that had crossed over to the World of Gotchard beforehand.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: All three past Rider identities are used by the three Hundred generals and have some form of red and black on them (the belts of all three, Eternal's black cape, and the general suits of Dark Kiva and Glare).
* TheReveal: Subverted. Saigetsu as Dark Kiva prepares to use Wake Up Three: King's World End, a FinishingMove alluded to yet never shown in Series/KamenRiderKiva, which is said to have the power to end the world. However, the Legend Kamen Riser strikes him just before he could actually use it, only getting to gather power to use it.
* SmugSuper: Zein, full stop. Then again, this is an A.I. that views itself as morally infallible and superior to humans. Yet it has the audacity to mock Mimei, a member of Hundred, as inferior to the Outsiders.
* SuperMode: Legendary Legend makes its debut in this episode.
* TemptingFate: After Mimei escapes Lachesis and Supana's attack, she mutters that she's safe...and then Zein appears.
* ThemeSongPowerUp:
** The first version of "Chemy X Story" plays during Houtaro's HeroicSecondWind.
** Kaguya's insert song, "Living Legend", plays during his fight.
* TitleDrop: After he routs the Kasshines, Legend remarks that they're "10 years too early".
* TitleOnlyOpening: No opening sequence is played and the opening theme is moved to around the second half of the episode instead.
* VillainKiller: Mimei has the honor of becoming Zein's third official casualty, or first unless if Banno and the Ark are excluded given that they are also artificial intelligence themselves and managed to store their data into the Internet.
* WhamShot: How can this episode get any darker? You get Kamen Rider Zein involved!
* YouCantThwartStageOne: Subverted. Hundred's plan to send their Kasshine army over while holding off the Riders as the Aurora Curtain lets them through ends up failing because Kaguya dealt with them offscreen.
