4	* AllForNothing: At his first day at work, a customer calls Bobby from all the way at the top of the bleachers. Bobby heads upwards and gets winded pretty quickly (even resorting to climbing on all fours), but eventually makes it to the top. The customer then rejects the soda because he wanted [[AndADietCoke a diet]] and Bobby only had regular.
5	* AnalogyBackfire: Hank attempts to teach Bobby the value of a dollar and money ethics by giving him a dollar, hoping he can use it to do something profitable. But it goes over his head and he buys food from a taco restaurant.
6	* {{Angrish}}: Hank is too enraged by Jimmy endangering Bobby to even speak, simply yelling "BWAAHH!" before running across the track to give him a LiteralAsskicking.

Dale then proceeds to explain how Jimmy was kicked out of Dale's gun club because he was so stupid.-->'''Dale''': Witchard? ''Jimmy'' Witchard? Hank, you told Bobby to listen to ''Jimmy Witchard''? He was in my gun club. People say he fried his brain one day from staring at the sun. 'Course, he couldn't have been that smart to do that in the first place. Kind of a chicken-and-egg thing...
18	* {{Foreshadowing}}: Tommy, one of the workers at the racetrack, quits because he wasn't able to do so until someone replaces him and before he leaves, tells him "Good luck, Bobby. You're gonna need it." And considering Jimmy's nature, he's right.

24	* LaserGuidedKarma: Hank gives Jimmy a LiteralAssKicking after seeing Bobby almost get run over by the passing stock cars, all because Jimmy got thirsty and ordered Bobby to cross the track.
25	* LiteralAssKicking: Hank does this when he finally catches Jimmy. He literally kicks Jimmy's ass multiple times, while Peggy takes photos.
26	* MaliciousMisnaming: Jimmy calls Bobby "Tommy", after the kid he replaced.
27	* MeanBoss: Jimmy may be "the boss", but he's not a very good one. Having Bobby do crap work, him claiming Bobby owes him money, and making him cross the racetrack to get him a drink, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking all the while wearing a giant hotdog suit.]]
28	* NewJobEpisode: Bobby works as a snackboy for the racetrack, even being Witchard's go-to guy, involving smashing bags of bottles in dumpsters and wearing a hot-dog suit.

31	** Hank also does this when Dale tells him about how stupid Jimmy really is, and how he was apparently kicked out of Dale's gun club for his idiocy.

33	* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Whenever Hank is concerned about something, Dale will mock him. But when Hank mentions that Bobby's working with Jimmy Wichard, Dale gets genuinely concerned for Bobby's safety.
34	* PapaWolf: After he discovers Jimmy's true nature, Hank goes after him and gives him a LiteralAssKicking.
35	* PreAssKickingOneLiner: Hank usually only says "BWAAHH!" when he's shocked or horrified, but in this episode he yells it when he's angry at Jimmy endangering Bobby.
36	* RealMenHateAffection: Zig-zagged with this line after Bobby agrees with Hank's work ethic lessons: "Bobby, if you weren't my son, I'd hug you."
37	* SpannerInTheWorks: Hank, Dale and Bill serve as the pit crew for Boomhauer when he competes to drive the pace car. Dale, however, is quite inept, exemplified when he changes tires and ends up bolting his sleeve to the wheel. During the race itself, they have him hold a bucket of sand while Hank and Bill do the real work, but Dale couldn't even manage that when he drops the bucket.
38	* SpoiledBrat: Hank and the guys don't hold Jeff Gordon in high regard, just thinking of him as a rich kid spoiled by his father. He's even portrayed this way when he almost runs over Hank, causing him to swerve off-road and crying "Daddy!" in a whiny voice, as if he were a five-year old who got his toy taken away by a playground bully.
39	* TakeThat: Jeff Gordon gets roasted throughout the episode: Hank and the guys see him as a SpoiledBrat who relied on his rich father to actually race, [[KiddieKid Bobby]], [[KnowNothingKnowItAll Peggy]], and [[BrainlessBeauty Luanne]] [[DamnedByAFoolsPraise are the only main characters who are fans of him]], and Gordon whinily cries "Daddy!" when he crashes after nearly ramming Hank. This was a HistoricalInJoke given Gordon was unpopular among southern fans at the time.
40	* WhatTheHellHero: Dale does a minor version of this to Hank when he learns that Hank made Bobby follow Jimmy's instructions.
41	* WouldHurtAChild: Jimmy doesn't seem to have any concern for Bobby's safety as he demands he run across a busy race track to bring him a soda. He tells the boy to "dodge the cars" when Bobby asks him if that's really such a good idea. Given how eager Jimmy's previous hire was to quit when Bobby joined on, it's heavily implied that he's done this, or attempted to, before.
42	* UnstoppableRage: When Hank gets across the track, Jimmy taunts him because of the protective fencing between them. Hank is so pissed off that he kicks a hole in the fence-a ''fence meant to guard against high speed vehicle crashes''-and chases Jimmy into a back alley to give him a LiteralAssKicking.
43	* YesMan: Invoked when Hank encourages Bobby to be one to be more successful at work and to win the boss over. Not necessarily bad advice, unless you're working under someone like [[{{Jerkass}} Jimmy Witchard]].
44	* YouNoTakeCandle: Jimmy's grasp of English is about as poor as his regard for his employees.
