After hearing about his love for sweets, Mai also wasted no time in taking him to eat in Charmant. Sora really liked Oren's pastries too and became a welcome regular customer afterwards so long as he keeps his experiments with food out of earshot of the Rider. That was, until one god noticed a peculiar sight outside the temple's windows: a man climbing up the building with suction cups. When the god decided to try and talk to the intruder, initially intending to stop him peacefully, what followed was a fowl-mouthed asshole screaming profanities and singing insulting songs for hours straight, resulting in a massive argument between the two. Hearing the commotion, the other court members intervened before it could get worse and had the man, who called himself Suction Cup Man, brung to the court to explain himself. After more swearing and insults, the more dickish members were impressed with just how proud he was being a petty jackass, and gave him the title of '''[[CardCarryingJerkass Proud Assholes]]''', which of course Suction Cup Man viewed as a compliment. |
| 706 | * After relocating his house to the Pantheon, Suction Cup Man set out to continue doing what he always does, which is climbing up buildings and annoying people. Since his new home has an enormous amount of structures, he's made it his goal to climb up everything he can and annoy as much people as possible. Since then, he can be seen climbing up random towers and buildings, loudly singing to himself and getting into arguments with others. Don't think simply knocking him off the structure's good enough, he's prepared enough to bring a parachute with him so that he can land and take another go at climbing. |
| 707 | * Since his general gimmick is climbing up buildings, he's most commonly found climbing up the various Houses and temples around the Pantheon, usually [[TheGadfly to do what he always does]]. He's found a few that he considers his favorites, which consist of the following: |
| 708 | ** Before he ascended, his favorite target was a business man who owned a cleaning supplies company, usually going out of his way to antagonize the guy specifically. Since the business guy isn't in the Pantheon, he's decided that the house of Commerce, which naturally contains plenty of businessmen, will have to suffice for the time being. While he feels it isn't the same as annoying his favorite target, he will happily admit that having "annoyed the worlds richest duck" on his resume is pretty hilarious. |
| 709 | ** Back in his world, he also frequently got on the nerves of the law, often the result of the business guy calling them in to deal with SCM. The thing is, they can't really arrest him due to the fact that he's ''technically'' not breaking any laws, only smudging up windows at worst. This is something he's fully aware of and is more than happy to exploit for his amusement, especially now that there's an entire house filled with lawmen to heckle. He usually stays out of the way of lawyers, however, as the last time he started annoying one, he ended up getting himself banned from using suction cups (more on that in a bit). |
| 710 | ** If anyone's wondering, yes, his antics has gotten himself killed on one occasion, with SCM ending up in hell and encountering his worlds version of The Devil himself. That being said, it turned out that Satan [[TheDevilIsALoser wasn't particularly great at his job]], with SCM easily managing to escape back to the realm of the living after his usual bickering. This incident has led him to scale the Demon halls, which usually consist of him rubbing it into the various Devils that [[SelfDeprecation some jackass with some suction cups]] managed to escape hell with minimal effort. Many have noted that it's perhaps a good thing that the residents just end up ignoring him, as most of them are leagues more dangerous than the one SCM encountered. |
| 711 | ** One of his more embarrassing moments came when he infiltrated a wizards tower to steal some golden suction cups, only to piss off the wizard living there and get himself turned into [[MemeticMutation a marketable plushie]]. Suction Cup Man, having learned nothing from the incident, still scales the house of Magic so that he can steal other, more similar items. Notably, his luck there is significantly worse than with the other houses, with him usually running afoul of the magical residents and getting himself hit with numerous spells and hexes. And yes, [[{{Defictionalization}} you can actually buy the plushie online]]. |
| 712 | * As stated before, SCM was RippedFromTheHeadlines, being based off of a guy who tried to climb Trump Tower using suction cups, hence SCM's fondness of climbing towers. It was only natural that he would promptly attempt to climb the tower of the resident Trump expy, President Business, a formerly tyrannical overlord who's since reformed. It's not uncommon for people visiting the tower to see SCM climbing up it and managing to avoid the security robots surrounding it, complete with the inevitable argument with Lord Business. His one climb up the home of Donald Love, however, was not nearly as smooth, with SCM taking one look into the actual tower and promptly parachuting off in a panic, [[EveryoneHasStandards claiming that what he saw inside was fucked even by his standards]]. |
| 713 | * Had found out about the Colossi, a race of giants who were infamously claimed and slain by someone looking to revive their beloved. SCM, figuring that climbing the titans would be "a nice change of pace", set off and seemed to climb and annoy each and every one of them, which predictably entailed him climbing up them and yelling and singing as loud as he can. Most of the Colossi end up ignoring him and continue lumbering on, though a few of them did eventually get annoyed and attempt to swat him off, only for SCM to keep coming back for more. And yes, he did indeed run into Wander himself while doing this, calling him a "rock climber with way too many steps" before moving on, much to his confusion. |
| 714 | * One day, SCM climbed up a random motel and started heckling the guy living in a random room, only to notice that the man was a lot more aggressive than his usual targets, managing to counter his insults and shoot back with almost as big of a potty mouth as he had. Still, the climber thought nothing of it and assumed he just met another asshole like him, a notion he quickly reconsidered when, during a later attempted exit off of a building, someone had removed his parachute and replaced it with a bowling ball, causing SCM to plummet off the building. One quick trip to the ER later, and SCM returned to the mans apartment and started swearing revenge, having figured that he was the culprit behind the sabotage. That man turned out to be Dan, a jackass infamous for taking revenge on anything that even slightly wronged him. Ever since then, the two started taking shots at one another, with each side quickly recovering and starting up another plot against the other. |
| 715 | * Has once challenged the deity Diogenes, famous for climbing up a perilous mountain filled with hellish tricks and traps, to a climbing contest on the same mountain, cockily figuring that he could handle the mountain pretty well. Long story short, he ended up eating his words, as the mountain was exactly as perilous as was previously described, with extremely tight climbing spots, well hidden traps scattered around, and of course, [[CheckpointStarvation no checkpoints]]. The trip ended up being for naught as well, as when he eventually got up to the top, Diogenes had already beaten him by a half hour, having climbed up the mountain so many times that he knew the place in and out. [[SarcasmMode As you can tell]], [[SoreLoser SCM took the revelation really well]]. He's since been planing on a rematch involving climbing a tower, deciding to take advantage of "home territory". |
| 716 | ** A similarly embarrassing incident occurred while he was harassing Madeline, who had retreated to Celeste Mountain just to get away from the guy. SCM, ever so determined, followed her to the supernatural summit and tried to climb the mountain. Unfortunately, he learned the hard way that Suction Cups don't work very well on rocky, snowy surfaces, and at best had only managed to get up a few feet before tumbling off, with the normally persistent nuisance deciding to call it quits for now. He's currently seeing if anyone can create suction cups that can properly climb mountains. |

That being said, his music leaves a bit to be desired, as he usually just plays a song just to annoy people further, and consist of little more than rampant swearing and insults.
