* ''Franchise/AssassinsCreed'':
** Altaïr and Maria in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedI''
** Ezio and Sofia in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedII''
** Shaun and Rebecca in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedBrotherhood''
** ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedRevelations'' has Shaun Hastings mention that [[spoiler:Lucy Stillman said that she "liked" Desmond Miles]], not that that does anything now that [[spoiler:killed her under Juno's possession]].
** Arno and Élise in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedUnity''
** Henry and Evie in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedSyndicate''
** Bayek and Aya in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedOrigins''
** The Misthios and Natakas/Neema in ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedOdyssey''
* The ''VideoGame/BlasterMasterZero'' trilogy has [[spoiler:Jason and Eve, who are HappilyMarried and [[BabiesEverAfter have children]] at the end of ''[[VideoGame/BlasterMasterZeroIII III]]'']].
* In ''VideoGame/BlazBlue'', there's Jin Kisaragi and Tsubaki Yayoi. There is literally no other woman Jin cares for more than Tsubaki, and everyone, in-universe and out, can see them being with each other. Ragna makes the connection pretty quick, Noel enjoys the concept (she had pragmatic reasons for taking the job under Jin, or she'd have held out for Tsubaki to have it), and Makoto makes it no secret that she [[ShipperOnDeck ships]] the two of them.
* ''VideoGame/BreathOfFireII'' strongly implies that the Ryu and Nina from the original ''Breath of Fire'' married.
* Quote and Curly in ''VideoGame/CaveStory''.
* The ''VideoGame/DarkParables'' series has a few, such as [[Literature/JackAndTheBeanstalk Jack]] and Emma, Literature/{{Rapunzel}} and [[Literature/SnowWhiteAndRoseRed Ross]] [[GenderFlip Red]], and - in the backstory of the series - Literature/TheFrogPrince and his ''five'' wives. During the series, Literature/SnowWhite's son Gwyn and [[Literature/TheSnowQueen Gerda]] get married.
* The PlayerCharacter and Fran in ''VideoGame/DemonGaze''. [[spoiler:They share an intimate moment before the final battle and the epilogue shows Fran with her and the PC's daughter.]]
* ''Franchise/{{Disgaea}}'':
** ''VideoGame/Disgaea2CursedMemories'' has Adell and Rozalin, as foreshadowed heavily by the game's intro. The two start out as enemies, learn to respect and trust each other, [[HeIsNotMyBoyfriend go through repeated flustering denials to the rest of the party]], and end the game living together [[spoiler:after Adell uses ThePowerOfLove (and TheBigDamnKiss) to seal away the SuperpoweredEvilSide of Rozalin's past life]]. When making cameos in later games, they almost inevitably come as a pair in DLC and everyone automatically assumes they're married.
** ''VideoGame/Disgaea3AbsenceOfJustice'' has Almaz and Sapphire [[spoiler:with the final picture during the WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue being their marriage.]]
** ''VideoGame/Disgaea5AllianceOfVengeance'' has Killia and [[spoiler:[[TheLostLenore Liezrota]]. She's the one who caused him to [[TookALevelInKindness take a level in kindness]], and her death and revival play a great role in his character arc. The ending has the two of them [[EarnYourHappyEnding earn their happy ending]]]].
* ''Franchise/DragonAge'' avoids identifying any of the potential player romances as official. However, there are a few official couples among the side characters.
** ''VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins'':
*** Some of the origin stories have these among the family members of the Warden. In particular, the Human Noble origin has their parents, Bryce and Eleanor Cousland, and their brother and sister-in-law, Fergus and Oriana. Both pairs are {{happily married}}. [[spoiler:Three of the four are dead by the end of the origin story.]]
*** King Cailan and Queen Anora are an official couple until his death in the prologue of the game. ''The World of Thedas'' shows that they were betrothed as children and have been close friends and companions all their lives.
*** Oghren romances and marries a fellow dwarf named Felsi; as of the ''[[VideoGame/DragonAgeOriginsAwakening Awakening]]'' expansion set less than a year later, she's pregnant with his child, whom he (according to ''The World of Thedas'') calls "[[AffectionateNickname Nugget]]."
*** The background of DAO also has [[spoiler:King Maric and the Grey Warden mage Fiona]], whose relationship is confirmed by the events of the supplemental novel ''Literature/TheCalling''. [[spoiler:Party member Alistair is secretly their son; he knows his father's identity, but his mother's has been kept from him at her request.]]
** ''VideoGame/DragonAgeII'':
*** Hawke's parents Malcolm and Leandra were this until Malcolm's death prior to the events of the game. Both the ''Legacy'' expansion and the ''World of Thedas'' books provide deeper insight into their history.
*** During the game proper, Hawke can help their widowed friend Aveline romance her second husband Donnic.
** ''VideoGame/DragonAgeInquisition'':
*** Inquisition agent Horsemaster Dennet is {{happily married}} to his wife Elaina.
*** Empress Celene and her former handmaiden Briala are ex-lovers; their relationship was canonized prior to the game's launch in the supplemental novel ''Literature/TheMaskedEmpire''. Depending on player choices, the relationship can be reinstated in the course of the game.
* ''VideoGame/DragonQuest'':
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestI'': The Hero and Princess Gwaelin. The main trio from ''Dragon Quest II'' are their descendants.
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestV'': Prince Harry and Maria. Unfortunately, due to his travels, the Hero misses out on attending the wedding.
** The Hero and Medea in ''VideoGame/DragonQuestVIII''. [[spoiler:The GoldenEnding ends up with them both married.]] In the 3DS version, however, new content was added, allowing for the Hero to instead end up with [[spoiler:Jessica]]. In the [[spoiler:standard ending, after escaping the church, Medea releases the Hero from his duties, so he can go travel and have adventures with Jessica]]. In the [[spoiler: Argon Ring ending, King Trode and King Clavius decide to call off the wedding between their children and instead help arrange the wedding of the Hero and Jessica.]]
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestXI'': The Luminary and Gemma. Throughout the game, conversations with other characters, especially the ones from Cobblestone, highlight the relationship between the two and that they expect the two to get married. One of the wishes from completing Drustran's trials allows you to do just that, with Gemma moving into your house, complete with a wedding photo. The UpdatedReRelease enables the Luminary to choose one of his companions over Gemma, but in their cases it merely consists of living together instead of marriage. It should be noted that, especially with the female companions, the door is left open for the possibility for a romantic relationship to develop after the events of the game. Regardless, Gemma is still the only one who can be married.
* Even ''VideoGame/{{Drakengard}}'', a series known for its dark tragedy, morbid horror and almost complete lack of romance, has an Official Couple with [[spoiler:Nowe/Manah]] in the second game.
* ''VideoGame/EarthBoundBeginnings'' has [[PuppyLove Ninten/Ana]], which is so official that they have a DanceOfRomance, during which Ana pointblank asks Ninten if he likes her at one point and they confess their love to each other.
* ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'':
** Cecil and Rosa from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV''.
** Locke and Celes from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI''.
** Zack and Aerith in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII: VideoGame/CrisisCore''.
** Squall and Rinoa from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'', whose relationship is so integral to the game's plot that the game's logo is the two of them embracing.
** Zidane and Garnet from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIX''. also Steiner and Beatrix.
** Tidus and Yuna from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX'', whose relationship is also integral to the game's plot; as well as Wakka and Lulu who receive confirmation in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2''.
** Serah and Snow from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII''.
** As of ''VideoGame/LightningReturnsFinalFantasyXIII'', [[spoiler:Noel and Yuel]] are also canon.
** In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyType0'', there's Machina and Rem. [[spoiler:The epilogue says that they are married after the events of the game.]]
** In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXV'', Noctis and Lunafreya [[spoiler:who are TogetherInDeath.]]
** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXVI'' has Clive and Jill.
* Though ''Franchise/FireEmblem''[='s=] support system is designed to allow mix-and-match pairings (generally, a main character can have around five possible romantic endings, where the background cast generally has at least one, with a few HoYay and LesYay pairings), there are some characters who ''always'' end up with each other (provided you don't get them killed):
** The very first game, ''VideoGame/FireEmblemShadowDragonAndTheBladeOfLight'', has Marth and Caeda acknowledge their feelings for each other in the ending, and sequel ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemMysteryOfTheEmblem Mystery of the Emblem]]'' has them already engaged, which is retained by the remakes of both games. Several other playable characters are already in a relationship with other playable characters or will form one by the game's end, such as Astram and Midia, Lena and Julian, Merric and Elice, Anna and Jake, and Abel and Est. Camus and Nyna also have feelings for each other but the events of the game prevent this from working out.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemGaiden'' and its remake ''Echoes: Shadows of Valentia'' give us Alm and Celica. Their feelings for each other and eventual relationship are a good chunk of the plot's focus. Other characters such as [[SickeninglySweethearts Clive and Mathilda]] and [[FlorenceNightingaleEffect Zeke and Tatiana]] are also official couples from the beginning, while Gray and Clair as well as Mae and Boey will hook up in the ending.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemGenealogyOfTheHolyWar'' introduces the Love System which allows the player to choose which characters get together, but a memorable exception to this is [[LoveAtFirstSight Sigurd and Deirdre]], who become lovers on the very next turn after Deirdre joins the party. Also, Sigurd's sister Ethlyn and his best friend Quan are already married to each other and have a child when the game starts. [[WhatCouldHaveBeen Scrapped plans for a potential third part of the game]] indicate that Lachesis/Beowolf, Tailtiu/Azelle, Silvia/Claud, Ayra/Lex, and Lene/Ares would have been canonically paired off.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThracia776'' makes a few implied couples from ''Genealogy'' canon. Leif and Nanna will get married in their endings. Lewyn and Erinys, two characters from the first generation of ''Genealogy'', are made an official couple in this game. Lachesis and Finn were also together before the events of the game. However, the fact that Diarmuid can use the Beo Sword while Nanna cannot hints that Beowolf is probably Diarmuid's father while Finn ''might'' be Nanna's. Others, such as Olwen and Fred as well as Miranda and Conomor, become couples in their endings, while Selfina and Glade are married at the start.
** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade'' the official couples are Juno and Zelot (married from the start, though you can A-support them to their friends and family as well as each other) and [[spoiler:Astolfo and Igrene (their supports reveal that Astolfo is Igrene's missing husband Goloris and the father of her deceased child, though even if you A-support them it's up in the air whether they get back together)]].
** Given that ''VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade'' is a prequel to ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade The Binding Blade]]'', a few couples are set in stone. The Fighter Bartre must end up with the Swordmaster Karla together for their daughter Fir to exist, and the Sage Pent and the Sniper Louise, the parents of Klein and Clarine, are married from the start. However, other couples are not set in stone due to the freedom of pairing that both games allow. Harken and Isadora were to be married, but the former goes missing at the beginning of ''The Blazing Blade'' and even when they reunite, they might not reconcile and get back together unless you support them.
** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemRadiantDawn'', Micaiah and Sothe start off with a max Support for each other and will marry each other in the ending. You have to go out of your way to make them not end up together. Calill and Largo are already married when they're introduced, which just means you don't have to do the work.
** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'', Saizo and Kagero were a couple before they decided they were BetterAsFriends before the start of the game, but you can make them decide to try again should you support them.
* The first ''VideoGame/GalaxyAngel'' trilogy pairs Tact Meyers with one of the Moon Angels, which carries over into [[VideoGame/GalaxyAngelII the second trilogy]] while also establishing this with Kazuya Shiranami and one of the Rune Angels. Both times the female is of the player's choice, five of whom activate in the first game of their respective trilogies (granted, Chitose Karasuma and Natsume Izayoi don't make their debuts until their respective trilogies' second games).
* In ''VideoGame/GoldenSunTheLostAge'', Sheba asks Jenna, "Aren't you and Isaac an item?" Jenna promptly turns beet-red and dodges the question. ''VideoGame/GoldenSunDarkDawn'' confirms that Isaac and Jenna marry after the original duology and have a son, Matthew.
* In ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' to the shock of the fanbase, Ky Kiske and Dizzy fell in love and had a son together. If this is known to the public in-universe, it will be quite a scandal as this is a forbidden relationship of epic proportions.
* While it is due to the player's choice, ''VideoGame/HeavyRain'' pushes [[spoiler:Ethan Mars and Madison Paige]] as the canon couple.
* ''VideoGame/JadeEmpire'' has male Spirit Monk/Dawn Star, with Silk Fox appearing as a {{Clingy Jealous Girl}}friend if the player does not actively encourage her.
* ''VideoGame/JakAndDaxter'' has three: [[AntiHero Jak]] and [[WrenchWench Keira]][[note]] However, this was [[AuthorsSavingThrow changed]] after Jak 3, the intended final for the series, infamously has Jak ending with Ashelin[[/note]], [[ActionGirl Ashelin]] and [[RebelLeader Torn]], and [[WeaselMascot Daxter]] and [[GeniusDitz Tess]].
* ''Anime/KandagawaJetGirls'': A yuri example between [[CompetitionFreak Fuka Tamaki]] and [[ShrinkingViolet Inori Misuda]] in the game. While there are subtle indicatives of Inori already falling to Fuka, the BreakUpMakeUpScenario served as their focal CharacterArc in the game. After Inori finally accepts Fuka's SplitPersonality simply as a part of her, both of them confess their feelings to each other at the end of Chapter 7. If that is not enough, their ending card within the game shows both of them lovingly gaze each other, complete with Japanese white lilies, a known symbol of lesbian relationships, within the background.
* ''VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters'' has buttloads of ShipTease of all kinds, straight and queer, but very few official couples. Among them there's Kyo's parents Saisyu and Shizuka, as well as Kyo himself and his girlfriend Yuki.
* ''VideoGame/KingsQuest'' : Graham and Valanice are HappilyMarried, as are Alexander and Cassima. Rosella and Edgar wisely agreed to a proper courtship canonically, but the FanSequel opens on their wedding day.
* Zael and Calista in ''VideoGame/TheLastStory''. After many hardships and struggles, including a temporary breach of trust between the two, they become a couple during the epilogue, with Calista knighting Zael and (via an optional chapter) marrying him.
* The main objective of ''VideoGame/PandorasTower'' is that Aeron has to find a way to dispel Elena's curse so they can spend the rest of their lives together.
* Dart and Shana from ''VideoGame/{{The Legend of Dragoon}}''.
* Crono and Marle from ''VideoGame/ChronoTrigger''.
* ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'':
** In the old canon, Twisted Fate and Evelynn were former lovers. When Evelynn broke up with Fate he went on an alcoholic bender. This was retconned with the general canon overhaul.
** Lucian and Senna are both Sentinels and HappilyMarried.
** Xayah and Rakan are informally referred to as The Lovers and were designed after literal lovebirds. They are a happy couple and even have buffs when played on the same team and unique animations to recall and dance together.
** Garen and Katarina have become canon as of ''Legends of Runeterra'', where their voicelines reveal they have been dating in secret for some time.
** [[InterspeciesRomance Jinx and Ziggs]] go on a date in the comic ''Paint the Town'' and currently live together.
** Swain and [=LeBlanc=] are in a sexual relationship, though Swain considers them [[DatingCatwoman "enemies with benefits"]].
** While the ship was [[{{Retcon}} retconned]] in the main timeline, in both the Battle Academia and Star Guardian [[AlternateUniverse timelines]], Ezreal and Lux are dating.
* ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfHeroesTrailsInTheSky'' has two couples: Estelle and Joshua, and Oliver and Schera.
* ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'': While the series usually adheres to NoHuggingNoKissing, there are a few exceptions.
** WordOfGod says that, in the Adult Timeline, which has ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker'' and ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaPhantomHourglass'', there will be some romance between Link and Zelda. She also has a more active role in that chronological branch.
** Link and Zelda are also a couple in [[Manga/TheLegendOfZelda the manga]], [[WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfZelda1989 the animated series]], and [[ComicBook/TheLegendOfZelda the comic books]], though none of these are canon.
** There's an optional RomanceSidequest in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword'' with Item Check Lady Peatrice. Whether you become a couple is your choice.
** The various games also have official couples not involving the Hero. For example, ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask Majora's Mask]]'' has Kafei and Anju, ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker The Wind Waker]]'' has Anton and Linda, ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTwilightPrincess Twilight Princess]]'' has the HappilyMarried Rusl and Uli, and ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword Skyward Sword]]'' has Pipit and Karane. A disturbing element in common found in three of these couples is that there's a third character related to each who has feelings for one of the suitors (Cremia in ''Majora's Mask'', Kamo in ''The Wind Waker'' and Cawlin in ''Skyward Sword''), but in all cases their feelings end up being unrequited due to Link's matchmaking involvement.
* ''Videogame/{{Littlewood}}'': There are several couples that will start dating after the PlayerCharacter gets married if both halves are still available after the marriage: [[spoiler:Terric with Laura, Ash with Lilith, Dalton with Iris, Mel with Zana and Bubsy with Maximilian]].
* ''Lufia'' series:
** TheHero and Lufia in ''Lufia and the Fortess of Doom.'' Aguro and Jerin may or may not be the BetaCouple.
** Maxim and Selan from ''VideoGame/LufiaIIRiseOfTheSinistrals''. Since the game is a prequel to the first game, which shows them being TogetherInDeath, [[UnluckyChildhoodFriend Tia has no chance.]]
** Wain and Seena in ''Lufia: The Legend Returns.'' Seems like Maxim's descendants are destined to end up with blue hair [[spoiler:incarnations of Erim]] for most of the times.
* ''VideoGame/LunarTheSilverStar'' has Alex and Luna, Nash and Mia, and Jessica and Kyle. ''VideoGame/LunarEternalBlue'' has Hiro and Lucia, as well as Ronfar and Mauri.
* While ''VideoGame/MarySkelterNightmares'' didn't have an official couple in the first game, with the closest being the relationship between Jack and Alice, ''Mary Skelter 2'' throws away all ambiguity by making the latter two this. It also has Little Mermaid and Otsuu as well, and the romantic love of both pairings plays an important role in the plot.
* ''Franchise/MassEffect'' does its best to avert this. However, the trailers always feature a male Shepard and pick a single woman to market as his love interest, for the most part. A traditional human choice is picked for both games: Ashley in the first (with the other option being a blue--albeit very [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe human-looking]]--alien) and Miranda in the second (opposed to the bald-and-crazy Jack or TheFaceless alien Tali). However, other than the trailers, almost everyone, devs included, stay away from calling the human love interests 'official.' Good thing too, because the [[InterspeciesRomance majority of the fandom]] would rip them apart if they did.
* The ''VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork'' series has Lan Hikari and Mayl Sakurai, who are revealed to be married with a kid during the post-series epilogue. The sequel, ''VideoGame/MegaManStarForce'', equally leans towards Geo/Sonia and Geo/Luna, so it has LoveTriangle fun now and then.
* [[spoiler:Meryl and Johnny]] of ''VideoGame/{{Metal Gear Solid 4|GunsOfThePatriots}}'' definitely counts. [[spoiler:The wedding at the end]] kind of makes it obvious. Also, [[spoiler:Raiden and Rose]].
* Guybrush and Elaine from ''VideoGame/MonkeyIsland''.
* ''Franchise/MortalKombat'':
** Liu Kang and Princess Kitana have been this since the [[VideoGame/MortalKombat4 fourth tournament]]. Kitana offered him a place at her side, ruling Edenia for the foreseeable future. He declined only because of his status as Champion of Earthrealm; Even after Liu Kang's death, his spirit anchored itself to her due to their powerful bond.
** Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade are the only other fighters that are romantically linked, mostly from the former's advances. Scorpion and his late wife Kara Hazashi were also this before the destruction of their clan, married with a child no less.
** ''VideoGame/MortalKombat11'' adds [[spoiler:Kotal Kahn and Jade]].** ''VideoGame/MortalKombat1''adds [[spoiler: Mileena and Tanya]].**
* ''VideoGame/NeverwinterNights'':
** The main campaign of the first game suffers from only having one option for each gender of player character. There was also the option to flirt with some of your companions, although the actual relationship never went beyond, say, "I think we could be more than JustFriends, Sharwyn".
** Cut content in ''VideoGame/NeverwinterNights2'' ensures that there is only one option for each gender in the main campaign and in Mask of the Betrayer, but technically with restored content plus the fact that the same character is running through both stories gives each gender three options. However, the fact that the main campaign options all died in the RocksFallEveryoneDies ending, and Neeshka and Bishop were the cut characters, forces the conclusion that male character/Safiya and female character/Gann were what the writers intended.
* ''VideoGame/NightsOfAzure'' has [[spoiler:Arnice and Lilysse]].
** Its sequel, ''VideoGame/NightsOfAzure2BrideOfTheNewMoon'', while you can choose the romantic option, pushes [[spoiler:Aluche and Liliana]] as the canon couple in the true ending.
* ''VideoGame/OdinSphere'' has Gwendolyn and Oswald. The second half of the former's story is about her finding out that she got married to her enemy and thinking that her love for him is an illusion. Only to find out that her father never charmed her to love him against her will. [[spoiler:The game's true ending shows them in an Adam and Eve situation where they repopulate the earth.]]
* ''VideoGame/OmegaLabyrinthLife'' has Juri Minesei and Yurika Murasaki. Interestingly, they're both clearly, openly stated to be romantically and sexually involved, but are implied to be non-monogamous, Yuri constantly flirting with and fooling around with other girls, while Juri is completely unbothered by it.
* ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}'' has Tracer and her girlfriend, Emily; and Torbjörn and his wife, Ingrid.
* Chaz Ashley and Rika in the 4th installment of the ''VideoGame/PhantasyStar'' series. WordOfGod via the prelims for a canceled sequel support this.
* ''VideoGame/PowerInstinct'': [[spoiler:Keith Wayne and Annie Hamilton. Cemented in the third game where they are married with a son, Chris (who, sadly, inherited none of his parents' kindness).]]
* The third ''VideoGame/ProfessorLayton'' game has the background of Layton's only known canonical relationship -- his college sweetheart, Claire. It's heavily implied that he was going to propose to her [[spoiler:the day she was killed in a time machine explosion]].
* At the end of ''VideoGame/ProjectXZone'' 2, Reiji [[spoiler:Propose to Xiaomu in marriage]].
* ''Franchise/{{Persona}}'':
** In ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'' there is Junpei and [[spoiler:[[DatingCatwoman Chidori]]]], who are so official that even though [[spoiler:the latter dies]], the [[DistaffCounterpart Female Protagonist]] can [[PlatonicLifePartners only be friends with Junpei]].
** The manga adaptation of ''VideoGame/{{Persona 4}}'' looks to be pushing [[spoiler:the Protagonist and Rise]] into this direction. There's been additional ShipTease between the two [[AdaptationExpansion that wasn't even in the game]].
** Likewise, the [[Anime/Persona3TheMovie film version]] of ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'' seems to have done the same with [[spoiler:Makoto and [[RobotGirl Aigis]]]].
* In ''VideoGame/SigmaStarSaga'', Recker can either end with Scarlet or [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe Psyme]] if one of them survives. However, in the ending where both does, Recker chooses Psyme over Scarlet.
* In ''VideoGame/SilentHillHomecoming'', Alex and Elle are heavily implied to be around that area or moving toward it, if not already there.
* While the relationship between the main trio of Vyse, Aika, and Fina is left ambiguous in ''VideoGame/SkiesOfArcadia'', Enrique and Moegi is definitely official. [[spoiler:The first scene of the ending is their marriage.]]
* ''VideoGame/SpaceQuest'': Roger Wilco is fated to marry and have a son with Beatrice. However, that didn't stop Flo from shamelessly flirting with him, nor did it prevent the Two Guys from throwing in some interesting ShipTease with Stellar Santiago in the final game.
* Since ''VideoGame/StarFoxAdventures'', there have been [[ShipTease very strong hints]] that Fox [=McCloud=] would end up with Krystal. In ''VideoGame/StarFoxCommand'', [[MultipleEndings depending on the ending]], they can either marry and have a son, or [[DidNotGetTheGirl break up permanently]].
* Mario and Princess Peach from ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' swing between this and ImpliedLoveInterest, depending on the game and the role they play in it. Considering their history and the fact that Mario will gladly go out of his way to save her, this is hardly a surprise.
* ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'', largely due to reveling in ThePowerOfLove, generally has one set per game/route when it comes to their OriginalGeneration characters:
** The first set comes from ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars4'' with Irmgult "Irm" Kazahara and Ring Mao, who were later given cameo appearances in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAlpha''.
** The Alpha series has, starting with the second game, Kusuha Mizuha and Brooklyn "Bullet" Luckfield, Arado Balanga and Seolla Schweizer, and Touma Kanou and Minaki Tomine.
** The ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsCompact2'' trilogy and ''[[VideoGameRemake Impact]]'' has Kyosuke Nanbu and Excellen Browning, whose dynamic is so strong in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsOriginalGeneration'' they have thus far become the SpotlightStealingSquad.
** Of course, the ''Original Generation'' games carry all of the above, but also ropes in the forgotten character archetypes from the first Alpha game and pairs them up (Ryoto Hikawa/Rio Mei Long, Tasuku Shinguji/Leona Garstein, Yuuki Jaggar/Ricarla "Carla" Borgnine).
** The ''Masou Kishin'' story also has Masaki Andoh and Wendy. It also features Tytti Noorbuck and Ricardo Silvera ([[spoiler:although the latter coupling's played [[KilledOffForReal tragically]]]]).
* The ''VideoGame/TalesSeries'' usually has one in almost every game:
** Cless and Mint from ''VideoGame/TalesOfPhantasia''. Chester and Arche as well. [[spoiler:When everyone had died in the far future, Arche grieved Chester's death the most.]]
** Stahn and Rutee from ''VideoGame/TalesOfDestiny'', and since their kid is the main character in the sequel, it's probably the most official of all Tales' couples. And said kid (Kyle) forms another official couple with [[YamatoNadeshiko Reala]]. In fact, in the end of the game [[spoiler:the universe acts to put the timeline back on its tracks, but opens an exception for Reala for her to be with Kyle]]. Because the couple is just ''that'' official.
** Also from ''Tales of Destiny'', Lilith is implied to have married the boy who crushed on her in her village, seeing as she has a daughter around Kyle's age [[spoiler:who took over Bruiser Khang's arena after he retired.]]
** Mary and Dalis were married before the events of ''Tales of Destiny'' and should the player take a certain route back to her home, they will happily reunite. [[spoiler:However, the player can have Dalis killed off if they take the story-recommended long path to her village.]]
** Loni and Nanaly from ''VideoGame/TalesOfDestiny2'' admit their love to each other, but [[spoiler:they are parted by the time reset. However, the manga shows them meeting again and implies they may start a relationship anyways in the future despite the age difference between them.]]
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfEternia'' was very official couple-y: with [[VictoriousChildhoodFriend Reid/Farah]] and [[BetaCouple Keele/Meredy]] both being official by the end and Max already married, Chat is left as the only member of the party ''not'' in an official couple when the credits roll.
** Lloyd and Colette from ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia''. The game has RelationshipValues, but Colette is the official one according to the [[FirstGirlWins intro]], the [[DamselInDistress storyline]], the RoadCone, the animated [=OVAs=] and, to top it off, the WordOfGod.
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfLegendia'' has [[spoiler:both Shirley and Chloe are in love with Senel who, despite ShipTease, doesn't seem to like any of the two particularly, instead claiming to not be over Stella, his dead girlfriend. In the end of the first half of the game, he seemingly hooked up with Shirley... but then Character Quests kick in, and he's still in the single men zone]]. So, you could say that [[spoiler:Senel and Stella were an official couple, but after she was KilledOffForReal so was the Official Coupling, but Senel just can't seem to get that through his head.]]
** Luke and Tear from ''VideoGame/TalesOfTheAbyss''.
** Natalia and Asch also; the escort titles in particular like to get some [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqSSY2AHh1k extra mileage]] out of this one. [[spoiler:Of course, there's only one Luke in the end, so only one of the couples gets a happy ending.]]
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfTheTempest'' has borderline-PuppyLove Caius and Rubia. Arria and [[spoiler:Albert]] were a couple and he even proposes marriage to her, but she breaks up with him halfway through the plot and by the end of the game her and Tilkis are a couple.

** ''VideoGame/TalesOfInnocence'' pulled a page out of ReincarnationRomance for its official couple, Luca and Iria. However, ''Innocence'' has an extensive RelationshipValues system, meaning that, like Lloyd and Colette in ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'', while Iria is the designated love interest, you can hook Luca up with whoever you want to, really. [[spoiler:And the ReincarnationRomance thing gets a hefty wrench chucked in it when you find out that Iria's past life murdered Ruca's past life and caused lots of bad things to happen. But Iria has severe AmnesiacDissonance, so it's all good.]]

** ''VideoGame/TalesOfXillia'' has Jude and Milla, though it's more apparent in the second game.
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfArise'' has [[spoiler:Alphen and Shionne marry each other during the ending credits]].
* The RED Spy and the BLU Scout's mother in ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'', as revealed at the end of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR4N5OhcY9s&noredirect=1 "Meet the Spy"]]. In the comics, there's also the Soldier and Zhanna, one of the Heavy's younger sisters.
* ''VideoGame/TearRingSaga'' has both of the lords, Runan and Holmes end up together with Enteh and Katri respectively. Toger and Mel as well as Tia and Richard are engaged when you first see them. Kate and the mysterious knight Zieg become a couple but it doesn't end well for either of them. Kreiss and Lina are to be married too and should you complete Leteena's long sidequest, she and Arkis become a couple as well. 152* ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'' has [[spoiler:Alphys and Undyne, which is initially a one-way crush but becomes mutual shortly before the Pacifist Route final boss. Toriel and Asgore were married at some point before the story begins, but have divorced by the time the player assumes control. Whether they ever get back together is left ambiguous, although it seems Toriel would rather stay apart.]]
* Welkin and Alicia in ''VideoGame/ValkyriaChronicles''. [[spoiler:It ends with them raising their daughter together.]]
* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1'' has [[spoiler:Shulk and Fiora]] after the latter returns into a Homs body.
