''Franchise/YuGiOh'' has a lot of {{Narm}} mostly from the fact that they made games and especially a [[SeriousBusiness children's card game]] ridiculously important for everything. When you have people horrified by an opponent summoning a powerful monster, or crying after losing a game, there's already a certain level of silliness present, which to some, [[NarmCharm adds to the series' charm]]. Then you get to ''these'' entries.

* Kaiba's [[SeriousBusiness reaction]] to the word "cooperation" is too over the top for its own good. Screenshots can be found [[http://theabcsofjustice.tumblr.com/post/95218362640/geez-gozaburo-really-did-severely-mess-you-up here]].
* There's a scene in the Duelist Kingdom arc where Kaiba grabs Jonouchi's wrist and tosses him into the ground. Then, as Yugi runs in to check to see if Joey is alright Bakura says this rather questionable line, namely "Check his pulse Yugi!"
%% * In the manga, a BrainwashedAndCrazy Jonouchi yelling, "I'M GOING TO @"#$!%^ FRY YOU!!!"
%% * Because waiting the few seconds it would take to summon a monster is too much to ask of Yugi.
%% -->'''Daimon/Lector:''' "You couldn't begin to imagine what monster lurks in my deck!" \
%% '''Yugi:''' "TELL ME!" \
%% '''Daimon/Lector:''' "Oh you'll find out, I'm about to summon it."
* Dark Yugi dramatically eating spaghetti in Mokuba's Russian Roulette dinner game is often used as an example of how silly the series can be at times, even in the manga.
* In Viz's translation, when Dark Bakura reveals that [[spoiler:he's holding Yugi and his friends' bodies captive in coffins]] the moment is ruined by the sound effects. "ZZ ZZ ZZ" makes it look like they're snoring.
* The manga's [[https://78.media.tumblr.com/fbf98c179a747adc61503eb50082855a/tumblr_o7tnekbttl1u76hl0o1_540.png scene]] where [[spoiler:Atem leaves]] has ''very'' over-the-top sobbing from Honda, while Bakura's expression is less 'sad' and more 'Did I leave the oven on?'
%% * Yami Yugi's oft-mocked "It's time to du-du-du-du-du-du-duel!" from the dub's opening.
%% * [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f-ZHln7TL4 SAY GOODBYE TO EXODIAAAAAAAA(My cards!)AAAAAAAA!]]
* In the sequel-movie, "Dark Side Of Dimensions", the scene in the Pharaoh's Tomb, where Diva shows up and proceeds to use the power of Prana's Mind to banish everyone to another dimension is full of this. Especially their reaction when the magic powers don't work, because ''Kaiba's new Duel-Disk is amplifying his '''ego''', which negates the power of Prana's Mind''.
%% * When Mako reveals that has dad was killed at sea, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCRug4lSm44 the voice acting in the English dub]] leaves much to be desired. Mako sounds very unconcerned ("Look out... dad.") and his father's "scream" sounds nothing like a scream.

%% * Then Crow comes along with his ''flying'' motorcycle!
* The heroes are horrified by Placido's TransformationSequence, which involves him transforming the bottom half of his body into a motorcycle. However, fans were amused both by the villain's corny design and his flamboyant pose, turning the scene into a source of laughter.
* The whole reveal of Z-One's backstory of [[spoiler:being a scientist from the future who modified his appearance to look like Yusei]] is clearly intended as dramatic, but the sheer silliness of the twist makes it a lot harder to take seriously. This is especially since nobody in the show ever acknowledged him looking like Yusei before (meaning TheReveal happens and then immediately transitions into a completely different, less plausible reveal). The fact that the final villain of the show is essentially [[spoiler:a failed fanboy/cosplayer of Yusei]] is also rather silly, in light of the InvincibleHero reputation he'd solidified at that point.

%% * LDS using their Duel Disks as cellphones is this to some.
* Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon moves around by skipping, effectively. Odd-Eyes itself runs like a chicken. Hard to take it seriously in the dramatic second ending when it's skipping down the road.
* When Sawatari Pendulum Summons in episode 3, his ridiculous expression makes it look like he is having an orgasm. Being Sawatari, this might be intentional.
%% * [[https://imgur.com/a/X6xms Reiji's odd pose]] in Episode 51, straight out of ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure JoJo]]''.
* Episode 75 had the moment when Dennis [[spoiler:had Antique Gear Chaos Giant]] attack Kurosaki's Raidraptor - Last Strix. After its early attack on Kurosaki's Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon mere moments ago, [[JustToyingWithThem which was most definitely]] ''[[JustToyingWithThem not]]'' [[JustToyingWithThem funny]], how does it do this? [[FingerPokeOfDoom By literally poking it]]. The resulting MoodWhiplash and the massive size difference between the two monsters ends up making the scene unintentionally ridiculous.
* Also from Episode 75, Satellite Cannon Falcon nuking [[spoiler:Chaos Giant]] from orbit is indeed pretty awesome, but in the dub, some of the impact is lost due to the Falcon's attack being called out as "[[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment Vengeful Vengeance]]".
* The chant for Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon in the dub has a part that recites 'I'll create a dragon that's all the rage'. While it should be a way to say how Raging Dragon incarnates rage itself, one can't help but think of the urban meaning[[note]]Something that is really popular among teens.[[/note]] before that, which comes across as hilarious. Especially since both Yuya and Yuto are in their awakened state when saying that the first time.
* [[https://youtu.be/d1bjSFFyxs8 "Zarc." "WHAT?!"]] The face-off between Zarc and the Professor was ''probably'' meant to be a dramatic confrontation, but the way Zarc sounds half annoyed and half offended when the Professor addresses him just makes it hilarious instead.
* Many people found it difficult to take the finale's plot seriously. Reira sealed Zarc into herself and became a baby, leaving the fate of the world on whether or not Yuya can make a baby smile. It also seems to take precedence over saving Yuzu, an ongoing plot line that had no clear path to resolution beyond some vague connection to Reira learning to smile again.

%% * Revolver certainly didn't help his cause get taken any more seriously when he starts ranting to Playmaker about how the internet and social media will be the downfall of society.
%%* Some people make fun of Go's first turn move in episode 81. It's because[[spoiler: they expect Go to make a complicated first turn judging by him saying he's going all out and activating his Brain Hack immediately. Instead, he only set one monster card and end the turn.[[note]]The set card later turns out to give trouble to Playmaker, but it's still ridiculous nonetheless.[[/note]]]]
