3	Ichiro Kuga finds himself in quite the pickle. Upon the death of his father, he inherits his apartment building and becomes the caretaker of his two younger siblings. As a manga artist, the young man would be swamped with work so much so, assistants would come and go. While trying to meet the deadline, Ichiro meets Shiori Goshiki, a 19-year-old woman who had recently left her island home. Because of her being self-taught, a lot of the work flies by for both of them.

5	All this would change when, as Shiori was sleeping, Ichiro notices some odd protrusion sticking from her back. Fearing that it was a craft pen that could hurt Shiori, Ichiro makes a grab for it. In doing so, he is swept into a void only to be reeled back in by an enraged Shirori who reveals that she is actually an extraterrestrial and since he touched her stinger, he was to become her husband.

7	''A Galaxy Next Door'' is a 2020 manga series written and illustrated by Gido Amagakure and was distributed via seinen manga ''Good!Afternoon'' and was collected into 5 volumes. It received an anime adaptation distributed by Creator/AsahiProduction in April 2023.
