This is made worse by the fact that, while there's no rule that says a Priestess of Mylee must hook up with her Champion, it happens so often that she's afraid that people will assume she and Louie are an item just from that, a misconception that Melissa vocally denies at every turn to the point it becomes her catchphrase.

Turns out [[ShellShockedVeteran Kagamandra Tulas]] is about as happy to ruin a young woman's life over political matters as she is to be saddled with an unwanted marriage, but since neither can get out of the arrangement gracefully, he was just trying to tell her that he does not care what she does as long as she's happy and safe. [[TheSnarkKnight Sharenas Ankhadu]] points out that neither behaviour is going to help matters.
