1The practice of using 'hidden' links rather than the page's actual title, so that words or phrases are highlighted. This makes it easy to insert links without disrupting the flow of the narrative, but causes viewers who compulsively click while reading to lose track of a long article. Blogs are notorious for this, rather than putting links at the end of an article. See Administrivia/TextFormattingRules for how to make one.

3If the linked article is completely irrelevant to the displayed text, then it's a Administrivia/SinkHole. Sink Holes are discouraged. When multiple Potholes are chained together, making it unclear how many links are present ([[{{Trope}} like]] [[{{Tropes}} so]]), it's also called a sinkhole, specifically a "chained sinkhole". These are also discouraged.
4
5Not to be confused with a PlotHole, or those things in the road.
