Maybe they make up the entire population of that animal on Earth or only part of them. Sometimes they are leaving Earth because they have knowledge about the impending [[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt end of the world]] and sometimes they just like [[AliensStealCable watching television]]. Just [[MST3KMantra relax]] and go with it.
