->"This fight is unbearably campy!"
-->-- Stan (on fighting Greg and Terry), WesternAnimation/AmericanDad

Camp characters -- gay, macho, or straight -- are flamboyant in appearance or demeanor. This doesn't necessarily mean that they can't hold themselves in a fight. Often times they'll fight in a way that suits their campiness. They may incorporate ballet in their moves, fight with beautiful clothing, unleash rainbow beams, use roses, etc., all in a flashy way that somehow works. May or may not end up conjuring BishieSparkles.

Often overlaps with AgentPeacock, CombatAestheticist, DanceBattler, TheFightingNarcissist, HeartIsAnAwesomePower, PersonalityPowers, and SheFu. Note that while the Agent Peacock is an effeminate badass, Campy Combat is specifically about effeminate men fighting in a campy, over-the-top way. Compare FightingClown, where a character's fighting style is meant to be amusing, and SuperCuteSuperPowers, where superpowers are girly and cute. Doesn't necessarily mean that the fight is "campy" in the other sense of being SoBadItsGood; for that, see WimpFight or FightSceneFailure.

* Kirsch Vermillion from Manga/BlackClover is a vain royal obsessed with beauty, detesting things he finds ugly like muscles and peasants. He's dressed in his squad's pink robes and uses Cherry Blossom Magic, forming enough pink petals to cover a battlefield and describing his magic as "beautiful".
* Charlotte Chuhlhourne in Manga/Bleach is a drag queen with long purple hair and shimmering eyes. He's obsessed with beauty and very vain, with his Resurreccion giving him a crop top and pink cape, and letting him form heart-shaped beams and a white rose bush that cuts himself and his enemy off from the rest of the world.
* The Cute High Earth Defense Club series (Anime/CuteHighEarthDefenseClubLove and Anime/CuteHighEarthDefenseClubHappyKiss) has all the campy action of a typical MagicalGirlWarrior show, but with the genders flipped and played for comedy. Puffy pants and glittery wands are the name of the game, and they fight the MonsterOfTheWeek using ThePowerOfLove and rainbow beams. It's played just straight enough to allow them to be competent at their jobs but otherwise has them lampshading the absurdity.
* Hisoka Morow from Manga/HunterXHunter has jester-like hair, clothing, and makeup and uses an alluring, feminine style of speech. Notably, he gets sexually aroused from fighting strong foes, regardless of their gender. His Nen ability "Bungee Gum" forms a pink aura with the properties of rubber and gum that's much more deadly than it sounds.
* Dio from Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure. He has the over-the-top demeanor like many of the series' characters, wears green lipstick and heart knee pads, and his Stand, The World, is a muscled gold man. According to the author, he's bisexual and doesn't care about someone's gender so long as they interest him.
* Yuga Aoyama from Manga/MyHeroAcademia is a vain AttentionWhore who likes sprinkling French and English words in his dialogue, and his Quirk "Navel Laser" shoots a sparkling beam out of his belly button.
* Manga/OnePiece:
** There is a fighting style known as Okama Kenpo used by okamaJapanese slang for a homosexual or transvestite which uses kicks and ballet-like movements. Bentham a.k.a. Bon Clay, a flamboyant okama in pink, is a master of the martial art.
** Emporio Ivankov is the greatest okama of them all and he uses his Devil Fruit, the Horm-Horm Fruit, to change himself into a woman to fight. His move "DEATH WINK" also has him wink his mascaraed eye with long eyelashes to send a powerful blast of air pressure.
* Puri-Puri Prisoner from Webcomic/OnePunchMan wears a sweater with a heart on it and loves good-looking guys, stating that they're his reason for being a superhero. His Angel Style has him flex his muscles to the point his clothes rip off, leaving him naked, and unleash flamboyant yet powerful special moves that give him illusory angel wings.
* In Anime/SailorMoon, Zoisite is a long-haired, girly-looking man romantically involved with his male comrade Kunzite, and he has the power to form flower petals that he can transform into needles.
* Adam from Anime/SK8TheInfinity. Oh, and how. First, he always makes over-the-top entrances to S (like showing up in a helicopter) and has a very flamboyant demeanor when skating. Second, his skateboard, costume, and mask all have hearts somewhere on them, and even his moves' names are all associated with the word love, such as his infamous "Love Hug" move.
* Reiji Miyabi from Anime/StarDriver is a bisexual man with purple hair and a strong libido. He pilots the Cybody Reshbal, which takes the likelihood of a Renaissance gentleman complete with a pink plume.
* Nathan Seymour from Anime/TigerAndBunny has electric pink hair, effeminate mannerisms, and likes to hit on male heroes. Despite this, Nathan is a superhero known as Fire Emblem who can unleash fire in flashy, flamboyant poses. Nathan was assigned male at birth but uses feminine speech and the author suggests they consider themself "gender-free".
* Manga/TokyoGhoul has Shuu Tsukiyama, a foppish young man dressed in designer suits with a tendency to make dramatic displays and an obsession for Kaneki that blurs the line between hunger and sexual desire. He wraps his bright purple kagune around his arm as a spiraling ribbon to fight, using it as a blade in a manner similar to fencing.

* Ian Soo from ComicBook/PatsyWalkerAKAHellcat is a bisexual young man with dyed blue hair and flashy taste in fashion whose latent Inhuman heritage gives him telekinetic powers that manifest as pink energy.

* WesternAnimation/DespicableMe3: Balthazar Bratt fights using '80s dance moves and a weaponized keytar.

* Film/WildWildWest: When the flamboyant US Marshal Artemis Gordon fights Dr. Loveless' BodyguardBabes at the climax, he uses dance moves to avoid their attacks (and causing one to fall off the SpiderTank).

* Downplayed with Loras Tyrell from Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire. He's a long-haired, effeminate man considered to be more beautiful than most women and in a secret homosexual relationship with Renly Baratheon. Despite being one of the best knights in Westeros, he goes into battle looking very flamboyant, wearing ornate, caped armor adorned with roses, the sigil of his family, and riding on a white horse. According to official illustrations, even the lance he fights with has rose designs.

* Loras Tyrell in Series/GameOfThrones is a downplayed example. He's a gay, famed knight who has long hair and is well-dressed and groomed. He wears armor covered in roses, his house's symbol, and jousts against Gregor Clegane while riding a white horse.

* Zigzagged with "The Concrete Rose" Sonny Kiss, an extremely effeminate male wrestler. While his moveset contains many campy attacks (including ones involving twerking and splits), he can also be a vicious brawler when he needs to.

* Amane Nishiki in Franchise/BlazBlue is a flamboyant, feminine-looking man in a pink kimono who likes handsome men. His fighting style is dance-like and revolves around ClothingCombat, using his pink shawl and sleeves to strike enemies and form drills.
* VideoGame/GuiltyGears Bridget is a textbook example. A young lady with attack animations that are very acrobatic and showy, with even her idle animation having her sway back and forth like she's dancing.
** There's also Raven, a literal CombatSadomasochist who strikes flamboyant poses during his attacks.
* VideoGame/CastleCrashers: The Pink Knight's magic has him hurling rainbows at enemies while posing in a very camp manner.
* Sylvando from VideoGame/DragonQuestXI is an AmbiguouslyGay circus performer who dresses flamboyantly and whose special attacks involve attacking his foes by blasting them with giant pink hearts. He’s also a formidable swordsman .
* Zhang He from VideoGame/DynastyWarriors wants to be beautiful in battle and is very flamboyant, having worn a butterfly outfit and high heels. He certainly looks pretty in a fight, wielding claws and moving in an elegant dance resembling ballet.
* Makoto from VideoGame/EnchantedArms is a flamboyant, openly gay man who considers himself beautiful. In battle, he strikes flashy poses and fights with blades of bright light.
* Brother from VideoGame/FinalFantasyX2 has an over-the-top DanceBattler fighting style when he is used as a party member, constantly moving and fond of AssKicksYou moves.
* Yuri in VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses. He's a pretty young man with long light purple hair and can be quite charming and flirty. He's bisexual, being a GayOption for Byleth, and is the only playable character whose canonical class is the Trickster, more flashy than other classes and incorporating acrobatics in the fight animations.
* Endrance from Franchise/DotHack is an effeminate long-haired, bisexual man who carries a rose and indulges in prose about beauty. He also happens to be a famed Blade Brandier, wielding a flashy purple blade and fighting with graceful twirls.
* Ash Crimson from VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters. He strikes flamboyant poses and his behavior towards other male characters is heavily implied to be flirting. His fighting style is very showy and acrobatic, combining it with his fire powers all in a very graceful fighting style similar to French martial art Savate.
* Disco Kid's Title Defense rematch in the Wii installment of VideoGame/PunchOut has him taking up a very flamboyant aerobics motif highly reminiscent of Richard Simmons complete with a leotard and afro.

* WesternAnimation/AmericanDad: In "Surro-Gate", Stan, outraged that Francine agreed to be the surrogate for Greg and Terry's baby behind his back, threatens to beat them up. Greg and Terry's response is to put on some "rumble" music and engage in a dance-based battle, nimbly avoiding Stan's attacks, and pulling off over-the-top pretend attacks rather than actually attacking him, to his annoyance. Of note, it's a ShoutOut to Theatre/WestSideStory, using the same sort of music and dance-fighting.
* In "Zen" from WesternAnimation/Hoops, the members of the Lenwood Colts basketball team go into a fight with a group of bullies called the "Gay Mafia," thinking that it's going to be like this. Instead, the members of the Gay Mafia proceed to deliver them a good, old-fashioned ass-kicking.
* Usually averted in WesternAnimation/QForce, since most characters are StraightGay or ButchLesbian. But Twink is the god emperor of using campy clothes and maneuvers in combat.
* Beyond unavoidable in WesternAnimation/SuperDrags, in which the main characters turn into drag queens to fight.
* OSI Agent Shore Leave in WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers. An expert marksman and gunslinger, he's a CampGay and doesn't even try to distance himself from the trait while on a mission.
-->Mook: "Okay, just please, take that gun out of my back."
-->Shore Leave: "Nooo, no. That's not my gun. That's an indicator of how excited I am to do this to you. That [holds his gun up] is my gun."
