One particular person, George Gipe[[note]]who novelized several other movies and co-wrote two film comedies with Creator/CarlReiner and Creator/SteveMartin[[/note]], was more familiar with the draft he was given in 1984 so he could write [[Literature/BackToTheFuture the novelization]]. Soon after submitting his manuscript, he died from an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
