''Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings'' is the official autobiography of [[Film/{{Anchorman}} legendary anchorman]] [[Film/Anchorman2 Ron Burgundy]]. In this tell-all book, Mr. Burgundy tells us about his early childhood, growing up in a coal mining community in Iowa, his early job as a backup musician for various jazz performers, and his foray into the world of news.

!!I Wrote a Hell of a Trope!
* BasedOnAGreatBigLie: Much like the movies, it's based on a true story. Only the names, locations, events, etc. have been changed.
* CloudCuckooLander: Ron, of course. At one point, he starts talking to himself on a bus, which quickly goes out of control and he starts screaming about how he's going to burn the bus down. When Ron meets Brick Tamland, he delivers such wonderful gems as "I am inside my head and outside my head," and "It's a funny sunny funny day."
* DisproportionateRetribution: Jim Nabors attacks Ron Burgundy for the heinous crime of having better hair than him.
* HandsomeLech: Ron and Brian Fantana.
* HollywoodTourettes: Possibly the reason Champ Kind declares "WHAMMY!" so often. At one point, he drops it in the middle of a sentence for no reason: "This Texas barbecue whammy so delicious, whammy."
* MeetMyGoodFriendsLeftyAndRighty: Ron's fists are named Tom O'Leary (left) and Jack Johnson (right). And they're a force to be reckoned with.
* NoodleIncident: At one point Ron has to work in the engine room of a tramp steamer "crammed with stolen art and international spies" to pay for his passage back to San Diego from China. How he ''got'' to China is a "whole other book."
* OffingTheOffspring: Ron and his many siblings regularly tried to kill each other.
* ThroughTheEyesOfMadness: Ron... is probably [[UnreliableNarrator not the most reliable narrator.]] The various bizarre events over the course of the book genuinely make you wonder if the hair products he takes may have had some effect on his brain. (Considering that some of the products he used had things like lead chips and lime in them, it's quite possible.)
* UnfortunateNames: Several other news reporters in the story have embarrassingly hilarious names. For example: Ass Perkins, Snack Reynolds, and [[WesternAnimation/JonnyQuest Race Bannon]]. The nuns at Ron's highscool, "Our Lady Queen of Chewbacca," also have names like Vicky Vaginilicious and Sister Honeytits.
