3The book is about a little girl named Linnea who loves the works of French Impressionist Claude Monet. Her neighbor was delighted to take her to Paris to see Monet's paintings at a art museum and see his home and garden.

5Released in 1987, it followed with two more books. There was an animated adaption released sometime between 1992 and 1994.
